Race Analysis

Lots of £20 notes

The ‘Lucky 15’ bet is a combination bet comprising four selections that amount to 4 singles, 6 doubles, 4 trebles and a four-timer accumulator. You have the option to bet either Win or Each-Way.

Starting Friday 10 August, Betting.Net racing experts Paul Alster and Enda McElhinney will provide their four selected horses of the day, as they seek to crack the famous ‘Lucky 15’. Their free selections will be online each day by 0900.

Having enjoyed great success with both our Race Of The Day (ROTD) and Ante-Post tipping features showing fine level stakes profits, we’re out to try and give those bookies a bit more of a daily bashing!

Friday 10th August

LIFE ON EARTH (Musselburgh 410)

Our ROTD selection, trained by William Haggas, ridden by Jamie Spencer. A progressive three-year-old filly who comes here on a hat-trick after wins at around 1m4f. She looks as though the extra half mile will really suit as she could be a thorough stayer. Forecast odds – 3/1

BOOM THE GROOM (Chelmsford 730)

Trained by Tony Carroll, ridden by Robert Winston. Has been a fine servant over the years and looked on his way back when a good third at Glorious Goodwood last week. Has top weight, but if back close to his best may still prove too strong for his rivals. Forecast odds – 11/2

DADDIES GIRL (Newmarket 740)

Trained by Rod Millman, ridden by Thore Hammer Hansen (7). Has run better than form figures suggest, including when beaten just over seven lengths by subsequent Irish Oaks winner Sea Of Class in listed race at Newbury in June. Forecast odds – 12/1

NAVARRA PRINCESS (Chelmsford 910)

Trained by Don Cantillon, ridden by Rossa Ryan (3). First-time hood applied after running lazily last time, but the signs are there that this filly can do the business with a top apprentice booked. Last race of the day, but may prove well worth waiting for. Forecast Odds – 7/2

A close finish at York races
