Betting Tips & Predictions

Valencia host Alaves in La Liga at the weekend, with Los Che looking good for a place in next season’s Champions League

Valencia’s recent form has made La Liga predictions involving them a little easier in recent weeks, as they have really stepped on the gas in their pursuit of a return to Champions League football for 2018-19.

Wins over Malaga, Levante, Real Sociedad, Real Betis and Sevilla have boosted confidence ahead of a busy end to the season, and they are priced at a very interesting 4/9 to win on Saturday. The front line of Zaza, Carlos Guedes and Rodrigo Moreno look menacing, with the latter scoring three in his last two games.

Given Valencia’s potency in front of goal, an over 2.5 total goals bet looks to be a strong option in terms of football bet tips and predictions, priced at 8/11. Alongside the form of Marcelino’s side, Alaves also having a pretty poor away record this season, winning just two of their last nine matches away from home in La Liga.

Match Summary

Look out for:

Rodrigo Moreno, who is the man of the moment for Valencia, with three goals in his last two games and 15 goals for the season so far.

If you are a fan of consistency in your football predictions, then back the Spanish international to score again this weekend. He is 11/8 to score anytime against Alaves.

We fancy:

Football predictions are never easy, and particularly football score predictions, but given Valencia’s run in 2018, they look in the mood to rack up the goals this weekend.

With an on form strike force and a defence that has conceded just two goals in their last four games, Valencia are in line to win comfortably. Marcelino’s men are 9/1 to win 3-0 against Alaves.

It’s a long shot, but:

Valencia have been awarded seven penalties this season, all of which have been successfully converted by skipper Dani Parejo.

The midfielder has scored eight penalties in total this season, and if a spot kick is awarded he is nailed on to take it. With that in mind, Parejo is 15/2 to score first against Alaves.
