Tottenham will attempt to return to winning ways against West Ham when they welcome the Hammers to Wembley in the Premier League on Thursday night. West Ham won 3-2 at Tottenham when the pair met in the EFL Cup earlier this season, but Spurs were winners by the same scoreline when they travelled to the London Stadium in the Premier League in September. Both teams will be desperate to get one over on their bitter rivals.

Tottenham are 1/3 to triumph as they look to win their seventh home Premier League match of the season. Spurs have only lost once, and conceded just eight times at Wembley in the Premier League this term, and will be confident of continuing their pursuit of the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have not lost at home to West Ham in the Premier League since October 2013.

West Ham are 11/1 to collect all three points as they look to continue their improvement under head coach David Moyes. The Hammers have only won one of their 11 away Premier League matches this season, but that 3-0 victory at Stoke City came as recently as December 16. The capital side have also improved defensively since Moyes replaced Slaven Bilic as head coach.

The draw is 27/5 but it is worth noting that the points have not been shared in this particular fixture since February 2015. There have only been two draws between these two sides since March 2011, but it might well be a tight affair when considering that it will be the second time that the two teams play in the space of 48 hours.

Harry Kane is 2/1 in the first goalscorer market as the England captain looks to continue his incredible campaign. Kane scored twice at West Ham in the reverse match earlier this season, and can be backed at 11/4 to net at least twice against the Hammers on January 4.

Marko Arnautovic is 14/1 in the first goalscorer market for West Ham, while the Austrian international can be backed at 19/4 to net at any point during the 90 minutes. The controversial attacker is currently in his best form for the Hammers, and will relish the chance to impress against Tottenham.

Match Summary

1

Look out for:

The goals market. There has been at least five goals scored in four of the last six matches between the two teams, and West Ham have really found their shooting boots in recent weeks. It is 39/11 that Tottenham win a match that produces over 4.5 goals, while West Ham can be backed at 65/1 in the same situation.

2

We fancy:

Correct score of 3-1 Tottenham is available at 11/1. Spurs are certainly the favourites on home soil, and netted five in their last home game against Southampton on Boxing Day. West Ham have enough to grab a goal, however.

3

It’s a long shot, but:

Mark Noble to score twice or more for West Ham is available at 100/1. The club captain should be back from injury, and he is the team’s penalty taker.
