Betting Tips & Predictions

Harry Kane scored for Tottenham in the first leg in Turin, and will be major threat to Juventus once again

This is one of the most eagerly anticipated ties in this round of the Champions League, given that it is evenly balanced at 2-2 after the first leg in Turin three weeks ago. Harry Kane and Cristian Eriksen’s goals either side of a Gonzalo Higuain penalty miss means that Spurs hold a slight advantage due to the away goals.

Both sides are in great form at the moment, neither being defeated in their last six games. Juve have not lost since mid-November, including a 10-match winning run in Serie A, and Spurs are undefeated since their loss to Manchester City in December. It looks set to be a very close game and both sides will be confident of qualifying for the quarter-finals.

Goals certainly look to be the way to go in this game, given Juve will have to at least score one to stand a chance of going through. Spurs have failed to score at home on just one occasion this season, all the way back in September against Swansea. Both teams to score at 5/6 looks a banker and good value in the circumstances.

Both sides pride themselves on their defensive abilities, but as we saw in the first leg, both can be vulnerable at the back. Harry Kane scores in most games and if Spurs are going to score here, it is always a good bet anytime. He is 6/5 to score anytime and that looks great value given how prolific he has been in all competitions for Spurs this season.

Paulo Dybala is back for Juve and scored their last minute winner against Lazio at the weekend, which sees them take a big stride towards overtaking Napoli at the top of the league. He could prove to be very difficult to mark for Spurs, and at 27/10, he is another player to back anytime.

Match Summary

1

Look out for:

Kane to score anytime at 6/5. Kane scores for fun and managed a goal in the first leg. At this price, he is worth backing.

2

We fancy:

Kane and Dybala to both score anytime at 9/2. Both players are in the goals lately and both are capable of scoring in the big games.

3

It’s a long shot, but:

Either team to win on penalties at 28/1 could be worth a punt given how tight this game looks set to be, and how able both teams are going forward.
