10/02/2018 Kick Off:  12:30 pm Bramall Lane V Predicted Score:2 - 0

Away Leeds United

Match Summary

1 Look out for:

Discipline. Leeds have a terrible disciplinary record of late, so don’t be surprised to see a penalty be given at 3/1. A penalty to be scored is 4/1 and one missed is 11/1.

2 We fancy:

Goals to be the order of the day in Yorkshire, so Sheffield United to win and five or more goals in the game could be temping at 10/1.

3 It's a long shot, but…

It would be typical of Leeds to start this one as clear underdogs and come away with a win, and if you think it’ll be a big one you can get 125/1 on a 4-0 away victory.

Team News

Sheffield United's Last Six:

Sheffield United’s last six: Won: 3 Drawn: 1 Lost: 2

The Blades don’t have any injury worries at the moment and are relatively fresh following their loss against Wolves, but Wilder might want to change things he didn’t feel went right in order to secure all three points.

Leeds United's Last Six:

Leeds’ last six: Won: 0 Drawn: 2 Lost: 4

Following a dreadful run of ill-discipline, Leeds will be without the trio of Gaetano Berardi, Liam Cooper and Samu Saiz who have all been sent off in the past three weeks. Other than that, they don’t have any injuries worries to speak of.

Sheffield United vs Leeds United Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Leon Clarke carries Sheffield United’s goal burden on his shoulders

Following an awful run of form, Sheffield United have dropped out of the automatic promotion places and the play-off spots altogether and currently sit in eighth place. Their loss away at Wolves was their second in as many games and has left them in a bad spot in terms of promotion, but they will fancy themselves against a poor Leeds team who have been on an even worse run themselves.

The Blades are currently priced at 16/1 to win this one 3-1 and given Leeds’ poor run, it wouldn’t be a surprise if there are plenty of goals in this game. The Whites have the worst defensive record in the top 10, and being without a manager won’t help in the slightest.

Following the sacking of Thomas Christensen, Leeds once again find themselves in the market for a new boss. A win would be a great relief to the club, but given their precarious position, it might be wise for them to pinpoint a draw, with 1-1 at 6/1. Or, if you’re feeling like a lack of manager might do them well, a 2-1 Leeds win is at 14/1.

The unpredictable nature of this game means we could be in store for goals and calamitous defending, so both teams to score and a Sheffield United win is 16/5, while a Leeds win and both teams to score bet can be found at 7/1. Leon Clarke is the 15/4 favourite to open the scoring for the hosts.

Predicted Score: Sheffield United 2 - 0 Leeds United
