    15/02/2018 Kick Off:  8:05 pm Partizan Stadium V Predicted Score:1 - 2

    Away Viktoria Plzeň

      Match Summary

      1 Look out for:

A high card count. Parizan Belgrade were shown the second most yellow cards of the teams in the group stage. As the underdogs in this tie they will surely make life very difficult for the visitors, so there could be plenty of bookings.

      2 We fancy:

Over 2.5 goals, at 34/25. Partizan Belgrade saw this happen in two of their three home matches in the group stage, and Plzen had at least three goals in the same number of away games. This could be an entertaining encounter.

      3 It's a long shot, but…

Plzen to win 3-0, at 40/1. If they can win by that scoreline at Napoli, as they did a few years ago, then they definitely can here.

Partizan Belgrade vs Viktoria Plzeň Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Partizan Belgrade’s Partizan Stadium will host Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League

Neither side has played any football for approximately two months, which makes it impossible to know who is in the best form. Plzen are placed 51st in UEFA’s rankings of Europe’s sides whilst Partizan Belgrade are 80th, so the visitors will be the favourites to proceed.

Partizan Belgrade are 32/19 to win, and they won two of their three home matches in the group stage. They were also 2-0 up against Dynamo Kiev in the other game, but the Ukranian side stormed back to win 3-2. Partizan have only lost one of their 11 home matches in the league this season, so are in decent form on their own turf.

Viktoria Plzen are priced at 79/40 to claim victory. They won one and lost two of their three away matches in the group stage. It was a vital win though, as it was in the final match and it saw them top Group G. In the Czech league this season they have won seven and drawn one of their eight away games, so they certainly know how to win on the road.

The draw can be backed at 12/5. Partizan Belgrade have drawn five of their 11 home league matches in 2017/18, and they have all come in their last six on home turf. They have form for stalemates and will want to ensure they don’t lose before the return leg next week.

Zoran Tosic is 8/1 to score the opening goal of the game, or he is available at 31/10 to find the net at some point. He scored once in the group stage, getting the first goal of a 2-0 win over Skenderbeu. He has also scored against Plzen in the past, as he faced them with CSKA Moscow in 2013/14.

Michal Krmencik is 7/4 to bag a goal during the match, or 5/1 to break the deadlock with the first of the game. He scored three goals in the group stage, including one in their away match at FC Lugano.

Predicted Score: Partizan Belgrade 1 - 2 Viktoria Plzeň
