27/01/2018 Kick Off:  3:00 pm Meadow Lane V Predicted Score:1 - 2

Away Swansea

Match Summary

1 Look out for:

With plenty of football still to play this campaign, a draw benefits neither side and this should allow for an open game. Over 3.5 goals is priced at 22/1 and could be a shrewd bet if an early goal is struck, particularly in the visitors’ net.

2 We fancy:

Swansea to stamp their authority on proceedings and come away with a 3-0 win at 14/1. Despite their position in the table Carvahal still has talented players at his disposal and the match could be ideal for Wilfried Bony to rediscover his shooting boots.

3 It's a long shot, but…

Notts County to win 2-0 is available at 25/1. The FA Cup is famous for its upsets and Swansea could be the latest in a long line of top tier clubs to suffer at the hands of a lower ranked outfit.

Notts County vs Swansea Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Jordan Ayew has been one of the few highlights of Swansea’s season

With domestic duties put to one side, Swansea will attempt to secure their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup when they travel to League Two outfit Notts County on Saturday afternoon. Carvalhal’s beleaguered troops will appreciate the brief respite this weekend’s encounter will bring in what has been a testing campaign.

Elsewhere, hosts County are flying high and nicely poised in League Two just behind leaders Luton. County are 3/1 to claim the scalp on the day and will quite rightly fancy their chances. Kevin Nolan’s squad have already toppled League One Bristol Rovers as well as Championship side Brentford in the last round and may inflict further misery on their more esteemed opponents.

The Swans are 5/6 to advance and the recent managerial change has yielded a couple of crucial wins so far. The Premier League’s bottom club can play with freedom and it’s an opportunity for fringe players to stake a claim and impress as the business end of the season approaches.

The draw is 12/5 and the Magpies, who have six clean sheets to their name on home soil, will back themselves to hold firm if the score remains goalless as the game wears on.

On-loan Jorge Grant is priced at 9/1 in the first goalscorer market. The nifty midfielder has been a revelation at Meadow Lane and his 17 strikes in all competitions has rocketed the Magpies up the table and in promotion reckoning. The Forest owned starlet is full of confidence and will relish the prospect of putting Swansea to the sword and will see plenty of the ball from his teammates.

Top scorer Jordan Ayew is 7/1 in the first goalscorer market. The younger brother of former Swan Andre has been one of the few shining lights this year and his haul of seven has comfortably bettered last term’s tally of four. Goals are in short supply at the Liberty but Ayew will be a threat throughout.

Predicted Score: Notts County 1 - 2 Swansea
