    04/03/2018 Kick Off:  11:00 am Ciutat de València V Predicted Score:1 - 1

    Away RCD Espanyol

      Match Summary

      1 Look out for:

Two goals for Espanyol? Levante have conceded at least twice in six of their last seven league games, and whilst the visitors are not one of Spain’s high scoring teams, they have scored twice in two of their last six matches. They also scored two when these teams last met, and you can get 19/10 if you think they will in this game.

      2 We fancy:

Under 2.5 goals, at 13/20. Espanyol have featured in the joint-fewest La Liga matches with at least three goals this season, and Levante average less than a goal-per-game at home. This is unlikely to be a goal fest.

      3 It's a long shot, but…

Espanyol to win 3-0, at 30/1. They won 2-0 when these teams last time out, and they’ll be buzzing from their win over Real Madrid, so why not go one better?

Levante UD vs RCD Espanyol Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Levante are without a home win since the middle of November

Levante go into the weekend outside of the relegation zone by goal difference alone, so need the points and may fancy their chances against an Espanyol side in 14th place. Neither side is in great form, so this could be a close match.

Levante are 41/19 to win, but they are on a terrible run at Estadi Ciutat de València at the moment. They haven’t won any of their last nine league matches there, and have the second worst home record in the division in 2017/18.

Espanyol can be backed at 13/8, and they will be full of confidence after beating Real Madrid in their last match. However, that was at home, and they have picked up just one league win on the road this season.

The draw is available at 11/5. Levante are one of La Liga’s draw specialists, with 11 already this season, which is the joint-most in the Spanish top flight. The teams played out a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture, so there’s every chance they could cancel each other out here too.

Jose Luis Morales is 11/1 to open the scoring, or 9/2 to add his name to the score sheet at some point. He may only have four league goals this season, but that’s enough to make him Levante’s joint-top scorer. His last goal also came against Espanyol, when the sides met in the Copa del Rey recently.

Gerard Moreno is priced at 5/2 to score a goal, or 13/2 for it to be the first one of the match. He is comfortably the top scorer on either side, with 11 league goals in 2017/18, and he scored a last minute winner against Real Madrid earlier this week so should be bursting with confidence.

Predicted Score: Levante UD 1 - 1 RCD Espanyol
