Match Summary

1 Look out for:

Under 2.5 goals at 7/10 with MarathonBet. Neither side are finding it easy to score goals and given Ipswich are proving to be difficult to beat at home and not conceding many goals, QPR will find it difficult. Goals are unlikely here.

2 We fancy:

Our main Championship prediction for us here is for the game to be drawn at 9/4 with Bet365. Ipswich have drawn five of their six home league games and are proving difficult to beat, whilst QPR have won two of their last three, so both sides could cancel each other out here, especially as both are struggling for goals.

One to Watch: Eberechi Eze

The QPR youngster has been catching the eye of many followers of the Championship for a while now and his quality and form was recognised with an England Under 20 call-up for the recent fixtures against Italy and the Czech Republic. He has scored three goals this season from midfield, which is a decent return and he has already attracted Premier League sides, which shows how much he is sort after.

Ipswich Town vs Queens Park Rangers Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Has Ipswich’s season been kick-started by their first win?

In this Sky Bet Championship preview, we will be looking ahead to the league clash between Ipswich Town and QPR at Portman Road this weekend. We will be searching though the markets to try and find some free football betting tips for you to use for this one.

Ipswich are really struggling so far this season, sitting a place above the bottom of the league with just nine points from their 12 games. They have scored just 11 goals in total and are finding goals difficult to come by, whilst conceding 18 goals in the process also. They did, however, pick up their first win of the season away to Swansea last weekend, and will be hoping they can kick on from that 3-2 victory.

QPR are not much better off in 18th place with 14 points from their opening 12 league games and have scored just four away goals so far this season. They have won two of their last three on the road, however, and they did win their last away game 1-0 away at Reading.

Looking at some betting tips for this weekend, our first one is for the game to end in a draw at 9/4 with Bet365. Both sides are struggling with goals; QPR have scored the second lowest in the league with 9, whilst Ipswich have scored just two more. Ipswich have drawn five of their six league games at Portman Road so far and are proving difficult to beat at the minute, without winning many games.

Our next football prediction is for under 2.5 goals at 7/10 with MarathonBet. This bet has landed in five of Ipswich’s six home games this season and in four of QPR’s last five league games home or away. As already mentioned, both sides are struggling to score goals and give the inconsistent form of both teams, goals don’t look to be the way to go here.

Predicted Score: Ipswich Town 1 - 1 Queens Park Rangers
