Betting Tips & Predictions

Getafe haven’t lost at home since the middle of October against Real Madrid

Getafe have been in strong recent form, losing just twice – to Real Madrid and Villarreal, in their last nine La Liga games, establishing themselves in a mid table position in the process.

Levante, on the other hand, are in real danger of dropping through the relegation trap door, as whilst the Valencian side picked up a point against Espanyol in their last game – they are without a La Liga win since November 2017.

Relegation looks to be a real concern for the away side and they will not be boosted by Getafe’s excellent home form this season -with Bordalas’ side unbeaten at home in La Liga since October 14th 2017.

This game may not be a cracker in terms of expansive football, but Getafe have proved themselves to be a really tough opponent at home this season, and they should have enough to secure a win – priced at 8/11.

Despite being relatively cagey in terms of tactics this season, Getafe have been let of the lead a little more in recent weeks, winning their last two games against Deportivo and Celta Vigo 3-0.

The will want to continue that run of form at home, and an over 2.5 total goals bet is 13/10, and a more cautious over 1.5 total goals is at 2/5.

Match Summary

1

Look out for:

With Angel potentially missing out on this game through injury, his strike partner Jorge Molina will be expected to take on a greater goal scoring responsibility.

He has netted seven times in La Liga already this season, and he has two goal in his last three appearances for Getafe.

He is 4/1 to score first at the weekend.

2

We fancy:

Getafe are on course for a top half finish this season, and much of that will bbe down to their impressive home form in 2017-18.

Whilst they do make things difficult for opponents at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, they do also carry a goal threat.

A 2-0 looks a strong option, priced at 11/2 , which will leave Levante looking anxiously over their shoulder.

3

It’s a long shot, but:

Levante are in real need of points at the moment, as they continue their shoot out with Las Palmas to avoid the drop.

However their inability to turn draws into wins has seriously undermined their potential to build on a promising start to the season.

A goal record of just two in their last five games is also a concern, however with Morales in attack they do have a goal scorer – he is 13/2 to score anytime.
