Match Summary

1 Look out for:

Everton are 11/9 to keep a clean sheet. Swansea are not exactly a team that score bundles of goals – managing just four on their travels this season – and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has arguably been Everton’s most consistent performer during the 2017-18 campaign.

2 We fancy:

Wayne Rooney to score in an Everton win can be backed at 5/2. The former Manchester United captain has been in impressive form for the Toffees in recent weeks and netted a hat-trick at Goodison Park against West Ham United at the end of last month.

3 It's a long shot, but…

Correct score of 4-0 Everton at 35/1. The Toffees put four goals past West Ham when the two teams met at Goodison Park at the end of November. Having won their last three on home soil, Allardyce’s side could well put another impressive victory on the board this weekend.

Team News

Everton's Last Six:

Everton’s last six: Won: 3 Drawn: 2 Lost: 1

Dominic Calvert-Lewin should again lead the line for Everton, although Oumar Niasse is pushing for an inclusion in the final third of the field.

Michael Keane is once again available for selection at centre-back, while Morgan Schneiderlin and Aaron Lennon are both pushing for starts.

Leighton Baines, Ross Barkley, Yannick Bolasie and Seamus Coleman are among those that remain unavailable for the Merseyside outfit.

Swansea's Last Six:

Swansea’s last six: Won: 1 Drawn: 1 Lost: 4

Swansea boss Paul Clement could be tempted to pair Wilfried Bony and Tammy Abraham as a front two, although it is thought that a 4-3-3 formation will see Bony get the nod once again.

Jordan Ayew and Leroy Fer are pushing for spots in the team as Clement considers shuffling his pack, although Roque Mesa and Tom Carroll should both continue in the XI.

Everton vs Swansea Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Everton have won 15 of their 27 previous meetings with Swansea and suffered just three defeats in the process. The Toffees are currently on a seven-game winless run against the Swans, however, which includes a 1-1 draw in the reverse match at Goodison Park last season. It might well turn out to be another tricky affair for Sam Allardyce’s side.

Everton are 8/11 to win it and will fancy their chances of picking up all three points after enjoying a change of fortunes under Allardyce. The Blues have been victorious in their last three Premier League games on home soil and are therefore the strong favourites to overcome relegation-threatened Swansea this weekend.

Swansea are at 4/1 to win it, but the Welsh side have lost each of their last five Premier League games on their travels. They have not exactly been blown away in those defeats – conceding just eight times during that run – although Clement’s side have certainly struggled away from home.

The draw is 5/2 and it is worth pointing out that the two teams played out a 1-1 in the corresponding league match at Goodison Park last season. Four of their last six Premier League meetings have also finished with a share of the spoils.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is 9/4 to score anytime and he is once again expected to lead the Everton line. The youngster is also 5/1 to score first and 14/1 to score two or more.

Wilfried Bony is 3/1 to score anytime and he has just started to find the back of the net for Swansea once again. The Ivorian is 15/2 to be the game’s first goalscorer, while he is 20/1 to score two or more at Goodison Park, which looks to be good value.

Predicted Score: Everton 2 - 0 Swansea
