Betting Tips & Predictions

Getafe have seen their chances of securing a Europa League spot reduced significantly in recent weeks, with Bordalas’ side winning just one of their last four league games.

The threat of relegation is not an issue for them, but it is still a slight concern for Alaves, who are in 16th with 32 points, but they are 11 points clear of the drop zone.

Alaves won three in a row at home before losing to Real Betis last time out

Home form has been the key for Alaves in 2018, with a home clash generally following the expected football predictions path of an Alaves win, and they have won three of the last four on home soil.

However, Getafe are solid opposition, and even though they are not the most exciting side to watch in La Liga, they generally get results against bottom half teams.

There is every chance that these two will cancel each other out, and a draw, at 21/10, looks to be a good option in your football betting tips for the weekend.

Goals have also been an issue for both sides in recent games, with Alaves scoring four in their last four games and Getafe netting three in the same run. With that in mind, an under 2.5 total goals bet, at 1/2, looks to  be another strong shout in your weekend football predictions.

Predicted Score: Deportivo Alaves 1 - 1 Getafe CF

Match Summary

1

Look out for:

Even though this is unlikely to be a goal fest, both sides do have consistent goal scorers in their ranks. Angel, if fit, for Getafe, and El Haddadi for Alaves – and the Barcelona loanee has featured heavily in football predictions for the Basque side this season. He is 6/4 to score first at the weekend.

2

We fancy:

Given the situation at both clubs, in that they are both set for comfortable mid table finishes, the logic of football score predictions point to a draw. Neither side will leave themselves to exposed defensively, and a point would be a decent result for both sides at this stage of the season. A 1-1 draw is 5/1 and stands out in the football bet tips and predictions.

3

It’s a long shot, but:

The focus will be on Angel and El Haddadi in this game, and both players have scored twice against each other this season, in their three meetings. But there is another player that has two goals for Alaves against Getafe this season – Christian Santos. He has only scored three goals this season in total, but if you are looking for lighting to strike for a third time against Getafe, he is 9/2 to score anytime.
