Chelsea’s Eden Hazard celebrates after scoring at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games and their last outing was a 4-0 away drubbing of Brighton. Goals from Victor Moses, Willian and a brace from Hazard easily put the Seagulls to the sword.

Bournemouth’s last league game was a 1-1 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium, where a Ryan Fraser opener was cancelled out by Javier Hernandez who had come off the bench to score.

Chelsea are 3/10 to win this game and have won eight out of 12 home matches this season, losing just twice to Burnley and Man City.

The Cherries are 11/1 to leave London with all three points, but have won away from home just twice in the league against Stoke and Newcastle. The draw is 11/2, but there has yet to be a draw between the sides in the Premier League era, so a stalemate would break new ground.

Hazard is 17/5 to open the scoring for Chelsea, while Callum Wilson is 10/1 to break the deadlock for the Cherries. Jordan Ibe is a decent 7/1 to score anytime for Bournemouth, while Ross Barkley is 37/19 to score his first goal for Chelsea anytime.

Match Summary

1

Look out for:

Eden Hazard. The Belgian loves scoring against Bournemouth, and has five goals in his last five matches in all competitions against them. He is 17/5 to score the first goal of the game.

2

We fancy:

Chelsea to win 2-0 at 6/1.  Conte’s men have the joint-best defence in the league along with Manchester United, having let in just 16 goals, and they have enough going forward to score at least twice.

3

It’s a long shot, but:

Chelsea are 17/2 to win from behind. Bournemouth have taken the lead in eight of their matches this season, but the hosts will fancy their chances even if they go behind in this one – provided they have enough time.
