Away Dundee

Match Summary

1 Look out for:

Odsonne Edouard. The young French forward has excelled in Griffiths’ absence but it likely to be relegated back to third-choice striker. Edouard’s pace and dribbling ability means that he may feature on the wing, as Celtic are unlikely to need much defensive support against Dundee. At 10/3 to score first, he comes into consideration in the football score predictions.

2 We fancy:

Celtic to win and over 3.5 goals scored at 29/20. Celtic have been free-scoring recently, with 11 from their last five games. Football score predictions see a high-scoring Celtic win as a high probability.

3 It's a long shot, but…

Dembele to score first at 29/10. The rival to Griffiths and Edouard’s game-time has suffered with an injury for a large part of the season but is back to full fitness now, and if he starts, will pose a real threat to the Dundee back line.

Team News

Celtic's Last Six:

Won: 4 Drawn: 1 Lost: 1

Leigh Griffiths returned last week against Ross County, but Brendan Rodgers still has a number of injuries to contend with. Craig Gordon is unlikely to return until later in the month, and is joined on the side-lines by Kieron Tierney and Nir Britton, whilst Jonny Hayes is set to be out for the rest of the season.

Dundee's Last Six:

Won: 1 Drawn: 0 Lost: 5

Dundee boss Neil McCann himself is set to miss the game, following an altercation with St Johnstone’s Zander Clark when the sides met before the international break. Operating from the stands, the manager will have to select his side without the injured Marcus Haber, who has been out since February with a knee injury.

Celtic vs Dundee Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Celtic are unbeaten at home so far in the Scottish Premiership

Dundee’s fight to avoid relegation is likely to take a hit on Wednesday as they visit Celtic, with the two sides below them facing each other. McCann’s side ended their three game losing streak on Saturday, but will have to pull off something special to beat the Hoops.

Celtic are 2/11 to win, and it would be a real shock if they fail to do so. Rodgers’ side has established a 22-point lead in the league, despite their first choice striker struggling for fitness. With Griffiths back, the all football predictions view the Hoops as favourites.

Dundee are 18/1 to win, although have done so just once in their last eight games. With a four points league over relegation rivals Partick Thistle, every point will be vital for the remainer of the season for McCann’s side.

A draw is 6/1, a result that Celtic surprisingly succumbed to against Motherwell in the game before last. Dundee with doubtless set up to defend deep, and with Griffiths yet to start since his injury, a few football bet tips and predictions may suggest that the forward is not yet fully fit.

Griffiths is to continue his march towards 100 Celtic goals on Wednesday. The forward has been overtaken by Scott Sinclair as the club’s top goalscorer this season, although a single strike will see him draw level. That competition should be kept in mind, including for the weekend football predictions.

Soffien Moussa is to score anytime. The forward has just five league goals to his name, but scored the equaliser in Dundee’s last match against Hearts.

Predicted Score: Celtic 2 - 0 Dundee
