14/04/2018 Kick Off:  3:00 pm Turf Moor V Predicted Score:1 - 1

Away Leicester City

Match Summary

1 Look out for:

The two sides to each find the net. Both teams have scored in 12 of Leicester’s 16 away matches in 2017/18, which is the most for any club in the Premier League. With Vardy in lethal form, a ‘yes’ in your both teams to score predictions looks sensible. It’s priced at just 13/12, and deservedly so.

2 We fancy:

Under 2.5 goals at 13/20. Football predictions can be improved with some research, and there have been just 10 matches at Turf Moor since the start of last season which have bore witness at least three goals. This is comfortably the lowest in the Premier League, so don’t expect goals here.

3 It's a long shot, but…

Leicester to win 2-0 at 13/1. Football score predictions are always tough to get right, but Puel’s men have won while keeping clean sheets in three of their last four trips to Burnley. Their previous game on the road saw them win 2-0 too.

Team News

Burnley's Last Six:

Won: 4 Drawn: 1 Lost: 1

The Burnley squad is currently carrying plenty of injured players. With that in mind, don’t expect to see Robbie Brady, Steven Defour, Scott Arfield or Jon Walters featuring here.

Leicester City's Last Six:

Won: 2 Drawn: 2 Lost: 2

Claude Puel only has a few injury problems to contend with, and none to any key players. Vicente Iborra, Matty James and Daniel Amartey are Leicester’s current absentees.

Burnley vs Leicester City Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Can Sean Dyche make it five wins on the bounce for Burnley?

This is a Premier League preview where the match result seems difficult to predict as these teams go into the weekend side-by-side in the league table. You can only make a football prediction by looking at the form guide, though, and Burnley have won their last four league matches, while Leicester only have two wins in their last eight. Here are some football betting tips for the weekend to help form your betting strategy.

Burnley are 13/8 to win, and only the top-four sides in the league have been in better form over the past six matches. If we look at matches among the bottom 14 sides this season, the Clarets have been the best performers, with just four defeats from their 22 games.

Leicester are available at 15/8, and the Foxes are in better form on the road than they are at the King Power Stadium. They have won their last two away matches in the league, though Burnley will pose a sterner test than either West Brom or Brighton did.

The draw is priced at 9/4. Both teams have drawn 10 league games this season, which puts them joint-fifth for most stalemates in the 2017-18 Premier League. They don’t tend to draw when they face each other, but neither are there many goals, so this could be the way to go.

Ashley Barnes is 5/1 to get the first goal or 9/4 to score at any time. He has scored four goals in his last five games and has more opening goals – five – than any other Burnley player in the English top flight this season.

Jamie Vardy is 19/10 to bag a goal or 17/4 to net the opener. When it comes to breaking the deadlock, the England international is only behind Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero in the Premier League, and he has 16 league goals in total this season. With seven strikes in his last nine starts for club and country, Vardy is a man on top of his game.

Premier League predictions are often tricky and more so as matches matter less when the season nears it’s close. It’s unlikely to be a high-scoring affair, so a score draw is probably on the cards.

Predicted Score: Burnley 1 - 1 Leicester City
