Match Summary

One to Watch: Ryan Fraser

Ryan Fraser was electric against Leicester in Bournemouth’s last game. He was somewhat fortunate to escape without a booking after going down easily in the box, but his performance was a joy to watch after that as he scored two and set up another

The Scotland winger has never scored more than five goals in a season, but he already has three so far this term. If he continues his fine form then he’ll add plenty more caps to the paltry four he has to date, and he’s 9/1 with BetBright to open the scoring this weekend.

Robbie Brady misses this game for Burnley, but the good news is that he’s back out training on the grass and will be involved in football predictions again soon. Steven Defour is working on his match fitness, while Nick Pope remains sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Ryan Fraser’s hamstring more than held up against Leicester last weekend, leaving Charlie Daniels as Eddie Howe’s only injury concern. The experienced defender missed the win against Leicester City with a niggle and remains a doubt in this Premier League preview.

Burnley vs Bournemouth Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Burnley host Bournemouth at Turf Moor on Saturday, with the two teams in very different form from both each other and last year. The hosts are still looking for their first win of the new season, while the Cherries have started this campaign like a steam train after their early struggles last term.

Burnley are 19/10 for the win, and they start your Premier League predictions as the slight underdogs despite their home advantage. The Clarets have lost all four of their games since they got a point at Southampton in their first fixture of the new campaign. Since then, they have been dumped out of Europe and are in dire need of a result.

Bournemouth are 8/5 to take all three points, and that’s not a bad football prediction considering the form of Eddie Howe’s side. They’ve only lost at Stamford Bridge so far this season, and they were magnificent against Leicester City last time out in chalking up their third win of the campaign. The Cherries picked off the Foxes at ease and were 4-0 up going into the final few minutes, before conceding a couple of goals to take a little shine off their dominance.

The draw is 12/5 in your football betting tips for the weekend, although the last four matches between these sides have produced winners. Both teams won away from home last season, and that trend looks set to continue in this one.

Callum Wilson has made a great start to the season, fuelling calls for his inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s England squad. He might have a way to go before that, but the Cherries striker could prove decent value at 11/2 for the first goal here. Burnley’s Chris Wood is also priced at 11/2 for the hosts as he goes in search of his first goal of the campaign.

Predicted Score: Burnley 1 - 2 Bournemouth
