Home Bristol City

    21/02/2018 Kick Off:  7:45 pm Ashton Gate V Predicted Score:1 - 2

    Away Fulham

      Match Summary

      1 Look out for:

A sending off? Fulham have had a man sent off in two of the last three meetings, and both teams have received three red cards in the Championship already this season.

      2 We fancy:

Over 2.5 goals, at 81/100. Since the start of 2016/17, Bristol City have played in 46 matches that have featured at least three goals, which is the most in the division. Fulham aren’t far behind on 43, so expect goals in this one. Over 3.5 goals, at 2/1, shouldn’t be ruled out either.

      3 It's a long shot, but…

Fulham to win 3-1, at 20/1. The Lilywhites have won seven away matches in the Championship this season, and there has been at least four goals in four of them. They are the form side in the division, so might just run riot at Ashton Gate.

      Team News

      Bristol City's Last Six:

        Won: 1 Drawn: 3 Lost: 2

Nathan Baker has completed his recent suspension so may return here. However, Marlon Pack picked up his tenth yellow card of the season against Leeds on Sunday, so this is the first match of a two game ban for him.

        Fulham's Last Six:

          Won: 5 Drawn: 1 Lost: 0

Fulham don’t have any injuries to contend with, so it’s just a question of how much rotation Slavisa Jokanovic implements following the 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.

Bristol City vs Fulham Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Bristol City’s promotion push has faltered with only one win in their last eight league games

These two teams have been heading in opposite directions recently. On New Years Day, Bristol City were fourth in the table and Fulham 12th, but with six wins and a draw in the seven matches since, the visitors go into this match ahead of their hosts in the Championship.

Bristol City are 29/16 to win, but with just one win in their last eight league games, the form book does not suggest that they will. However, they have won eight home Championship matches in 2017/18, including four of their last seven.

Fulham are available at 9/5 to earn three points, and as they’re form team in the division, there’s a distinct possibility of this outcome. The Cottagers have not lost any of their last five away league matches, winning three along the way.

The draw can be backed at 13/5. Only two points separate these sides in the table going into this round of fixtures, and Bristol City and Fulham have drawn 11 and 10 league games this season respectively. It could easily be a very close match.

Bobby Reid is 13/2 to open the scoring, or 12/5 to add his name to the score sheet at some point. With 13 goals he is City’s top scorer in the Championship this season, and after a recent league goal drought, he scored against Leeds on Sunday.

Ryan Sessegnon is 3/1 to bag a goal, or 8/1 to get the first of the match. He is Fulham’s top scorer with 12 in the league in 2017/18, and that includes eight in his last nine Championship appearances. The kid is in very decent form.

Predicted Score: Bristol City 1 - 2 Fulham
