Match Summary

One to Watch: Jamie Vardy

Vardy has been absent for Leicester since picking up a red card during his team’s 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 18.

Vardy has missed matches against Southampton, Fleetwood Town and Liverpool and will be desperate to return to action, having also not joined up with the England squad for their fixtures with Spain and Switzerland.

The 31-year-old is already off the mark in the Premier League this season, and the striker is 22/5 with 888sport in the first goalscorer market this weekend, which should certainly be considered as part of our Premier League predictions.

Bournemouth vs Leicester City Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Will Callum Wilson be the difference for Bournemouth?

Bournemouth and Leicester City will both be looking to bounce back from Premier League defeats when they meet at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Bournemouth suffered a 2-0 loss at Chelsea before the international break, while Leicester were beaten by Liverpool at the King Power Stadium. The hosts currently sit sixth in the Premier League table on seven points, whereas Leicester are eighth with six points from their four matches at the start of the 2018-19 campaign.

Bournemouth are 11/8 as part of the best football betting tips for the weekend. The Cherries beat Cardiff City and West Ham United in their first two Premier League games of the season, before drawing with Everton to move onto seven points. Eddie Howe’s side lost at Chelsea before the international break, but have still made a very encouraging start to the campaign, losing only one of their last six league matches at home, which is worth considering in this Premier League preview.

Leicester are 2/1 to collect all three points at the Vitality. The Foxes lost at Manchester United on the opening night, before bouncing back with victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Southampton. Claude Puel’s side did suffer a 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool before the international break, but they were the better team against the Reds. That said, it is worth considering as part of our football predictions that Leicester dropped points in 14 of their 19 away fixtures last term.

The draw is available at 11/5 as part of the best football betting tips. Incredibly, these two teams have met on six occasions in the Premier League and five of those six matches finished level. The pair played out a goalless draw on the South Coast last season, before sharing the points at the King Power in May.

Predicted Score: Bournemouth 1 - 1 Leicester City
