    22/02/2018 Kick Off:  8:05 pm Stadio Città del Tricolore V Predicted Score:1 - 1

    Away Borussia Dortmund

      Match Summary

      1 Look out for:

The draw at 14/5 looks tempting given that Atalanta are solid at home, but Dortmund’s recent form would suggest a win could be a little past the Italian side.

      2 We fancy:

Batshuayi to score anytime at 7/5. His form since moving to Germany has been superb and his general performances have been top quality. This looks a great price to continue his form in this one.

      3 It's a long shot, but…

Over 5.5 goals at 8/1 could be a way to go given how high-scoring the first leg was. Atalanta will have to go for the win at some point and they showed in the first leg that they are capable of breaching the Dortmund defence, but that could leave them vulnerable to attack and lead to plenty of goals.

      Team News

      Atalanta B.C.'s Last Six:

        Won: 2 Draw: 2 Lost: 2

Gian Piero Gasperini has a fully fit squad to choose from here, and is likely to recall the likes of Ilicic and Leonardo Spinazzola to the starting XI.

        Borussia Dortmund's Last Six:

          Won: 4 Draw: 2 Lost: 0

Julian Weigl is suspended for picking up a yellow card in the first leg, so either Mahmoud Dahoud or Nuhri Sahin will start here. Dortmund are already without seven senior players due to injury.

Atalanta B.C. vs Borussia Dortmund Betting Tips, Preview & Predictions

Atalanta are playing their Europa League games at the Stadio Citta del Tricolore this season

Michy Batshuayi’s last minute winner ensured Dortmund took a lead into the second leg, but Atalanta’s two away goals in the 3-2 loss could yet prove handy in qualifying for the next round.

At 147/100 Atalanta are slight favourites for the win but Dortmund are unbeaten in their last seven games, and have pushed up to second in the Bundesliga table after their 1-0 away win over Borussia Monchengladbach at the weekend.

At 2/1 Dortmund represent good value for a win against a side who are incredibly inexperienced in Europe and have only won two of their last seven games across all competitions.

Dortmund have struggled in Europe this year however, winning just one of their seven games, including six games without a win in the Champions League group stage this season. Atalanta know they need to win the game and against an in-form side like Dortmund, the last minute winner from Batshuayi could prove costly.

Looking at the betting markets here, Michy Batshuayi to score anytime at 7/5 looks very good value considering he has scored five goals in his opening three games. Dortmund look to suit him very well and at that price, it will be hard not to back him anytime.

Given it is a second leg and they are in the lead, Dortmund might not go gung-ho for the win straight away. The draw at 14/5 looks to be a tempting price given how Dortmund are playing.

Atalanta have won all three of their home games at their replacement stadium for the Europa League, so they will be confident of not losing the game but beating Dortmund could be a little bit out of their reach.

          Predicted Score: Atalanta B.C. 1 - 1 Borussia Dortmund
