Betting Tips & Predictions

Dundee’s defeat to St Johnstone was their fourth consecutive home reverse, and they will be glad to play away, despite the weekend football predictions being far from in their favour. Aberdeen have gone four games without a win themselves in the league, but should be able to overcome Neil McCann’ struggling side.
Aberdeen are 8/15 to win and need to pick up their league form if they want to protect third place from the encroaching Hibernaian. Derek McInnes has a strong squad at his disposal and will hope that the penalty shootout win in the Scottish Cup will have given his side a confidence boost. The football bet tips and predictions seem to think so.
Dundee are 13/2 to win and three points would be invaluable for the side at this point in the season. A number of news outlets have recently chosen Dundee as relegation contenders in the Scottish Premiership predictions, and a win would be vital to help keep the players’ heads up.
A draw is 3/1, a result that hasn’t happened in three years. However, given that Dundee will defend deep and Aberdeen have drawn their last two league games, it is far from the worst of football predictions.
Adam Rooney is 21/10 to score anytime for Aberdeen, as the side’s leading goalscorer. Currently undergoing a bit of a dry spell, the forward is overdue a goal and will enjoy playing against the league’s third worst defence.
A-Jay Leitch-Smith at 14/5 is considered Dundee’s best hope for scoring according to the football betting tips for the weekend. The forward has just six goals this season, although as Dee’s second top scorer is Mark O’Hara, a defender, he is highly relied upon.
Predicted Score: Aberdeen 1 - 0 Dundee
