Sidepot.us is a sweepstakes casino created by the same people who brought us the fantastic Fliff social sportsbook. But how will it shape up to its established sister site and other social casino competitors?
To find out, I’ve created a detailed Sidepot review below where I look at important features like its promotions, game collection, legitimacy, and usability. From the outset, I’ve been pleased with what I’ve seen, and I already know that I’m going to love the Sidepot Original arcade games. Read on to learn my full thoughts and experiences.

I’ve also produced a partnering Sidepot Casino promo code review if you want a full breakdown of the bonuses here. For this review though, I’ll quickly go through the welcome bonus, and summarize the other promotional features I found.
Let’s start with the Sidepot welcome bonus. Like other sweepstakes casinos I’ve tried recently, Sidepot gives you a lump sum of virtual currencies to start with, plus an optional discounted Gold Coin (GC) first purchase offer. Here’s what you can get:
This welcome bonus overall is excellent, but I want to see the lump sum of virtual currencies increased to at least 2. That’s a small issue though, and the optional Gold Coin package is excellent value, as you are effectively getting a 100% bonus amount of Gold Coins.
Similar to how there isn’t a DimeSweeps promo code for their welcome bonus, to get this signup bonus, all you need to do is follow the banners on this page and complete your account registration.
After I got my welcome bonus, I checked out the other promotional features and found a few gems:
Unfortunately, I didn’t notice anything like a VIP program or loyalty scheme which I think is something else they can improve on. However, the daily login bonus is one of the best you will find and this translates to an effective weekly bonus of 70,000 GC and 7 SC if you make the full 7-day login streak.
Like I did in my DimeSweeps review, I next moved onto the gaming and entertainment for this Sidepot review. I expect a social casino to have a grand selection of games from top developers, and everything from slots and table games – Sidepot does this mainly, but there are some missing game categories that it needs to add.
I can usually tell how good a game collection will be from the developers who contribute the titles. In the case of Sidepot, they work with a solid number of popular publishers, including:
Playson is one of my favorite slot developers, and I always enjoy playing Booming Games and BGaming slots too. Interestingly enough, Sidepot also creates some of its own games via the Sidepot Originals development team.
While slots make up the largest collection of the games here, I had the most entertainment from the Sidepot Originals section and I recommend you give them a try. They offer something completely different to classic casino-style games, and there’s even an element of skill and strategy with some of them. Current Sidepot Originals include:
I mainly played Crash, which is your typical online live crash game where you have to bail out before the object crashes, but I also found the HiLo and Dice games an incredible amount of fun. Compared to some other original arcade games I’ve tested over the years, I think the Sidepot Originals have better graphics and animations, and are a little more immersive.
The Hold and Win slot mechanic is one of my favourites to play, and I was pleased to see that Sidepot has a dedicated section for this type of game. It’s a cool bonus feature where you keep getting respins each time a new symbol appears. They have some Playson Hold and Win games here, and I recommend trying 4 Pots of Egypt, Gold and Glory Hold and Win, and 3 Power Genies.
I’ve discussed the gaming options, but now it’s time to get serious and check the legitimacy of this social casino. I’m confident that this is a reliable, safe, and legit site, but I’ll go through its core features to prove my thoughts.
Sidepot does everything right when it comes to complying with US sweepstakes regulations, and this is – in part – achieved by following the no purchase necessary requirement. Gold Coin purchases are available here, but they are not necessary to play the games as you get virtual currencies via other means.
On top of that, the platform does not allow real money deposits or gameplay, in compliance and regulations. That’s why you won’t find a Sidepot no-deposit bonus here. Lastly, I also saw that it uses strict geoblocking tech to ensure that only US customers in legal states can access the site.
The Sidepot website is also safe and I was never in any doubt that my personal info was secure. The site uses HTTPS connectivity, and has SSL encryption, which at the time of creating this Sidepot review, was backed by a certificate from Google Trust Services. You can employ some optional account security too, which I recommend doing, and they have extensive documentation that details how the site works. This includes a privacy policy, terms and conditions, and an excellent responsible social gameplay policy and information.
I don’t think that you will get stuck while using Sidepot, but if you do, you can rest assured that there are multiple support methods to contact. Your best option is the live chat which is found in the corner of the site, but there’s also email support. I sent a handful of test emails, and got replies within 1-2 hours which was pretty good compared to other sites I’ve tried this month. Similarly, I was pleased with the response times from the live chat, and the quality of the help they provided.

Gold Coins and Sweeps Cash are your two virtual currencies here, with Sweeps Cash potentially being redeemable for cash prizes. You’ll need 100 SC minimum, to have met the 1x bonus SC playthrough requirement, and to have verified your ID before making a SC redemption request.
Gold Coin purchases are a thing too, but they are completely optional. I think the GC packages are on par with what I expect from social casinos, and whenever I made a GC purchase, I was able to use Visa, Mastercard, or Bank Transfer. I know this is a limited selection of methods, but it’s common for social casinos to only accept these transaction types.

Last up for my Sidepot review, I checked out the usability of the desktop site, and what options I had for mobile gaming.
Sidepot has a stylish website that has a few more neat graphical elements and colors compared to most social casinos. They don’t go over the top though, and above all else, the site is highly usable. Virtually everything you need can be found in the left-hand menu, and I found it easy to navigate through the game library and using the search filters. Pages speeds are fast, I saw no technical errors, and it should be easy to use for new sweepstakes casino customers.
Sidepot doesn’t have a mobile app, but I loaded the site using Opera on my Samsung Galaxy, and there is a mobile-responsive version which works perfectly. The layout looks and works great, and they have done a fantastic job of porting the desktop site, transferring all its features, and still making it highly usable on smaller screens. I actually preferred playing the games on my mobile too – I just found the touchscreen controls easier to manage.
I think Fliff have done an excellent job in branching out from social sportsbooks and creating the Sidepot sister site. I have immense fun creating this Sidepot review, and I think that’s a testament to how well-rounded the sweepstakes casino is. Sure, I want to see live dealer games added, and I think it would be cool if they developed a mobile app like they have for Fliff, but I can live with these things and they won’t stop me from playing here.
I love the Sidepot Originals games, the website itself is easy to use, and everything is made more accessible by the fantastic range of promotions they have. It’s definitely one of the better social casinos you can play at, and if you want to try it out for yourself, all you need to do is use the banners on this page and follow the registration process to get signed up.
This is a sweepstakes casino where you have the chance to play casino-style games using virtual currencies. The types of games include slots, Sidepot Original arcade games, and more.
Not as a direct result of playing the games. You play games at Sidepot using your Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, and have the potential to get GC or SC winnings back. SC can be redeemed for cash prizes if you have at least 100 SC, have verified your ID, and have met the 1x bonus SC playthrough requirement.
Sidepot.us is only available in the US to customers over 18 or 21 depending on which state you live in. Also, it’s currently prohibited in these states – Alabama, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Tennessee, Washington, West Virginia, and California.
Yes. I’m positive that this is a legitimate sweepstakes casino as it follows US regulations by not allowing real money gameplay or deposits. On top of that, it also gives you different ways to get virtual currencies, and complies with the no purchase necessary requirement for this type of gaming site.
Yes! I’ve tested the website and mobile version extensively and both have a range of excellent security features. This includes SSL encryption, HTTPS connectivity, and the ability to enable 2FA for your account login. There’s also plenty of documentation for transparency about their operations.
