Scarlet Sands welcome offer - what’s up for grabs
The first thing anyone ever wants to know about is the welcome promo, so I thought I would begin my Scarlet Sands review there. Simply signing up with the sweepstakes casino gives you a generous welcome offer of 250,000 Gold Coins. What you don’t get automatically is Super Coins (Scarlet Sands’ version of Sweeps Coins).
If you want to get an additional 100,000 GC and 1 SC, you’ll need to verify the email address you used to register. Claiming this offer is straightforward; like I said, all you need to do is register an account, which takes under 2 minutes to do - no Scarlet Sands Casino promo code needed.
Other promos to look for at Scarlet Sands
Scarlet Sands doesn’t only offer a welcome promo. The site has a solid selection of ongoing offers available, too. Here is a table showing the promos featured and what they’re all about:

Scarlet Sands Bonus Offers:
Play over 1,000+ top games at Scarlet Sands
The gaming at Scarlet Sands is entertaining. When I first logged on, I read that they only had 100+ games, which left me wondering whether the site was really worth joining. But I’m glad I gave it a try, because the games lobby has more than 100 games; there are actually closer to 1,000 titles.
Popular gaming options
The majority of the titles at Scarlet Sands are slots. I found a solid selection of Hold and Win and jackpot games, along with popular options like Mega Zeus, Stellar Fruits, and Fiesta Clusters. Besides slots, there are crash games and several table games, like craps and blackjack.
What left me most impressed was the live dealer suite. Scarlet Sands has over 30 live titles, including Speed Blackjack, Turbo Roulette, Baccarat, Teen Patti, Poker, and Gravity Wheel.
Software providers at Scarlet Sands
It became clear pretty early on that Scarlet Sands favors quality, and the site cements this with its range of software developers. Under the “Providers” tab, I found a list of top names, including Iconic21, BGaming, Betsoft, Penguin King, and Evoplay. If you’ve checked out a Wandando review, you’ll find many of these providers are featured there, too.
Gameplay at Scarlet Sands - how things work
Before I continue with my Scarlet Sands review, let’s take a quick look at gameplay on the site and how it works.
The site is a sweepstakes casino, which means gaming on the site is free. You play using Gold Coins (GC) and Super Coins (SC), which are virtual currencies. These virtual currencies have no monetary value, and you can access them by claiming promos, playing games, and making Gold Coin bundle purchases.
Super Coins (Scarlet Sands’ version of Sweeps Coins) can be played in promotional mode. If you collect 100 or more of these SC, you can redeem them for cash prizes, provided you meet the 1x playthrough.
While Gold Coins (GC) have no value, and you can get plenty of them through promos on the site, Scarlet Sands does give you the option to purchase GC bundles. But this is completely optional and not a requirement to play.
Usability - Ideal for novice and seasoned players
One of the aspects of Scarlet Sands I appreciate the most is how easy it is to use the site. While it has a vibrant color scheme, it doesn’t feel cluttered. All promos, games, and other features are well sign-posted. Navigating the site is simple, and all pages and games load quickly. The only slightly frustrating aspect is the pop-ups featuring different offers, but overall, this is a minor quibble.
Registration at Scarlet Sands takes no more than two minutes and requires nothing more than an email address, a password, and for you to check two compliance boxes. If you’re using a friend’s referral code, there is a place for that, too. Then, it’s just verifying your email, and you’re done.
Is there a Scarlet Sands app?
Despite being a new sweepstakes casino, Scarlet Sands doesn’t have a native app. While this would have been a more convenient option, the site has made its platform easily accessible on mobile through an optimized website. This makes it more accessible to all players and features all the games and promos found online.
Scarlet Sands review - your payment options
Playing at Scarlet Sands is free, but the sweepstakes casino does give you the option to purchase Gold Coin bundles and redeem Super Coins for cash prizes. To do both of these, you’ll need to use payment methods, which is why the brand offers several safe options.
When making GC bundle purchases, you can choose from options like Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, or regular bank transfer. While it would have been great to see a few more e-wallet options or even instant transfers, the available choices are some of the more popular and user-friendly ones.
Purchasing Gold Coin bundles
Making that Gold Coins bundle purchase is simple; here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Make sure you’re signed in to your Scarlet Sands account.
- Hit the red “Buy” button.
- Choose your bundle.
- Pick your payment method.
- Provide any additional details required and confirm the GC purchase.
Similar to what you’ll find in a MrGoodwin Casino review, you’ll know that sweepstakes casinos offer several Gold Coin bundles that you can choose from, and Scarlet Sands is no different. The site has one of the most diverse offerings of bundles with 12 options, ranging from 50,000 GC with 5 free bonus SC right up to 5,000,000 GC and 500 free SC.
Redeeming Super Coins
One of the exciting features of Scarlet Sands is that you can collect Super Coins (SC) and redeem them for cash prizes. The sweepstakes casino highlights that you must have collected 25+ SC if you want to redeem them for a gift card, and 100+ SC for a cash prize.
But it’s not as simple as just collecting SC and getting a prize. Scarlet Sands requires you to play through any Super Coins at least once before you can redeem them.
In other words, if you have collected SC through promos or as free bonuses of GC bundle purchases, you’ll need to play them before they can be counted towards the 100 you’ve gathered for SC redemption. The best way to do this is by playing in promotional mode.
Not sure how to redeem your Super Coins? Here’s how:
- Make sure you have signed in to your Scarlet Sands profile.
- Check that you have completed your KYC verification.
- On the top of the home screen, toggle the SC option.
- Make sure you have 100+ SC and have met the playthrough requirements.
- Select the “Redeem” option.
- Provide your transaction details.
- Confirm the SC redemption.
Overall, I found the SC redemption process fairly straightforward, and it took no longer than 3 business days for my prize to reach me.
Customer service at Scarlet Sands - how good is it really?
Having a responsive, knowledgeable support team is essential for any top-performing sweepstakes casino, including Scarlet Sands. So, I put the brand’s customer service to the test, sending an email to their team and chatting with them over the on-site live chat function.
The email support team got back to me in under 24 hours, which is great, considering some platforms can take up to two days. Scarlet Sands’ live chat is operational 24/7, and they responded to me within seconds. The operator over live chat was friendly and knew their stuff, so I know if I ever encounter a problem on the site, it can be rectified quickly and without hassle.
A downside here is that the sweepstakes casino doesn’t have an FAQ section. There is a “How it Works” page that gives a brief overview of sweepstakes casino gaming, but other than that, you’ll need to contact the support team if you have any questions.

So, is Scarlet Sands legit, and is it worth playing at? In a word, yes.

Final thoughts on Scarlet Sands - a solid gaming selection and top offers
Scarlet Sands is a newer sweepstakes casino that is already making its mark among the bigger names in sweepstakes gaming. The collection of over 1,000 games includes a solid variety that goes beyond the typical slots-only offering of most other gaming sites in this category. Crash games, live dealer options, and table games are all supported.
The range of promos and the value they offer is just as outstanding, giving you access to more GC than many competitors. While there is a lot going for the site, a few tweaks could be made here and there. The addition of an FAQ section, responsible social gaming support, and fewer pop-ups would all be welcome additions.
Overall, Scarlet Sands gets a solid 8/10 stars from me. If you’d like to give it a try, hit one of the on-page banners to get signed up.
