Here at Betting.net we carry out comprehensive reviews of the operators you are likely to meet on your wagering journey. The first question we look to answer in this comprehensive review is a simple one – is Resorts legit?

The answer we found while conducting this Resorts review is just as simple – it is a resounding yes. Both the casino operation and the sportsbook are part of a much larger concern which includes real casinos, which means your money is safe with an operator backed by much greater resources than some other you might encounter on your travels.

Bonus Offer - Make the welcome bonus your first stop

Now we have answered the ‘is Resorts legal?’ question, it is time to look at the sign-up bonus. Do keep it in mind that in order to use any of the Resorts bonuses, you must be residing within one of the Resorts Casino legal states.  It is widely accepted that all online operators offer a bonus on sign-up, but it is a common misconception that all of these bonuses are the same. While many sites offer attractive sums to get you in the door, once you read the terms and conditions you might find that the requirements are so complicated, you are likely to see very little of the bonus you signed up to get.

This Resorts review found that is not the case here. If anything, the Resorts rating among its members is one of appealing bonuses and fair conditions. This is true not only of the deposit match on your initial deposit up to $1000, but also the regular promotions offered to members every week, many of which do not require a Resorts promo code.

The sportsbook welcome bonus is equally attractive with a risk free bet up to $250. If your first bet ends in a loss, your account is credited with free bets up to the amount of your wager.

Usability, Look & Feel - Traditional solid design you can rely on

On checking in to the site, you’ll find a traditional design that’s easy to navigate. While other operators may go for a more flashy design (and the occasion lagging and loading problems that sometimes accompany it) This Resorts review found that Resorts Casino have gone for a simple layout that many users will find comforting.

Everything is clearly laid out in front of you, with all of the usual essentials like your account details sitting at the top right-hand corner where you would expect to see them. You can select your slots from a simple menu bar and sort further by favorites, rating or just list them alphabetically. The sportsbook is just as easy to navigate, with the simple left to right process of placing bets in a number of markets.

The site can be viewed on any browser on both desktop and mobile devices. As you would expect, there is also an app for both Android and iOS devices.

Payments - A variety of payment methods are supported

During your stay at this site, you’ll want to fund your account, and this Resorts review found a number of ways to do this.

Resorts secure payment methods include VIP Preferred, Resorts Play+ card, Online bank transfer, Paynearme, Mastercard, Visa, PayPal and paying in person at the Casino Cage. Many of these methods are also available for withdrawals and 72 business hours for processing.

VIP Preferred deposits are almost instantaneous and attract no extra fees from Resorts Casino, but your account provider may charge you for this service. Withdrawals can take 3-5 additional days.

Resorts Play+ Card is like a prepaid card you can fund with cash or via your bank account (although this takes setting up and can take time to approve). You can also withdraw funds to this card.

Online banking is also instant and attracts no extra fees except those imposed by your account provider. A maximum limit of $1,500 or day or $3,500 is implemented for these transactions. Unfortunately, you are unable to make withdrawals using this method.

The deposit limits for credit cards are similar at $1000 per transaction and $3000 per day. These funds are deposited instantly and free of any fees, but you cannot make withdrawals. Additionally, your card provider may charge a fee for this, or decline transactions to online gaming sites.

No fees are charged for using PayPal either, but you can make withdrawals provided the amount is over $100. You can use your personal PayPal account to do this, but not a business or premier account.

Customer Service - Excellent Player Support

Here at Betting.net, we realize the importance of player support, which is why we make it a priority to look at the methods used to solve the problems members will inevitably encounter on their gaming journey. This Resorts review tested this operator and found Resorts rating highly on customer support, so you shouldn’t see any legitimate claims online of a ‘Resorts scam’.

First of all though, this Resorts review found that there is extensive help available instantly for members using the help section, which can be opened by clicking on the question mark next to your account details.

This covers many of the possible queries a layer could have during their stay at this site, so contacting customer support will be a rare occurrence, especially as the straightforward design of the site should mean there is very little to go wrong.

There are three methods to get in touch, similar to those you will have seen elsewhere on your visits to other sites. There is Resorts reliable phone support service available from 8am until midnight, 7 days per week. Live chat is available in a similar timeframe and both have quick response times when checked during this Resorts review.

Outside these hours, you can start a support request by clicking the support button in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen or sending an email to support@Resortscasino.com. There is currently no VIP support service available.

License & Security - Fully licensed and secure

Both Resorts online casino and sportsbook are available to New Jersey residents and are regulated by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. Members are verified at sign-up by an outside independent agency to ensure they are over 21. This can also be verified using their social security number to also verify their NJ residence. All of this data is kept secure by Resorts.

As previously mentioned in the Resorts review, Resorts online casino and sportsbook are part of a much larger concern. Resorts parent company DGMB Casinos LLC is listed on the stock exchange and owns the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City.

The website has not won any awards, but with the focus on a straightforward design and easy navigation, there is not much that will catch the eye of those that hand awards out. This does not appear to be a deal breaker though as the site is near the top of the gambling sites list having thousands of members, despite only being available in New Jersey.

Additional Rewards - Promotions and loyalty programs for members

Like many other operators, this Resorts review found that this operator does not have a dedicated VIP program but instead has a graduated loyalty scheme like the one we found in our Sugarhouse review. This scheme works simply, and players earn reward points, and they play casino games and bet on sports.

These rewards can be exchanged for cash which can then be withdrawn or used for further wagering. The exchange rate of points to cash will vary as you progress through the levels of the loyalty program, with fewer points needed to further your progress. Initially you will need 2000 points for $1, but just 67 points at the top level.

There are five levels going from Bronze which requires no monthly points, up to Diamond, which requires you to have played enough to earn 20,000 points. There are also Plus, Elite and Black levels which can be accessed one you reach Diamond status. In addition to cash, points can be exchanged for offers at the Resorts Casino in Atlantic City including discounted stays and saving on the various entertainments available at the Resorts.

Resorts Casino

Software - A range of games using top software providers

Resorts Casino has a wide range of slots and table games. Given the connection with the ResortsCasino in Atlantic City, we at Betting.net were expecting great things while carrying out this Resorts review of the online casino operation.

We were not disappointed and found over 500 slots featuring some of the top-rated slots in the industry including Rawhide, Lightning Link, Cleopatra and Divine fortune. These are all provided by NYX Gaming software. Their in-house studio, NextGen gaming has also created 5 slots unique to Resorts casino.

These games are the 5 reel Foxin’ Wins, and the sequel Foxin’ Wins again. Next is Foxin’ Wins Football Fever with the franchise continued with Foxin’ Twins. The last of the unique slots is Double Play Super Bet. These are just a few of the games that are available to demo play to make sure you are familiar with the game before playing with real money.

Games - All the table games you would expect in a real casino

Many of the table games are also available for members to demo play, as well as play with real money. As you would expect from an operator with these connections this Resorts review found an extensive range with options to suit everybody.

Blackjack is offered in various forms, with different betting levels. Standout examples are Low Limit Blackjack (bet between 10c and $10), Vegas Blackjack and Blackjack Atlantic City SH High Limit.

Roulette is also well catered for with four different options of Roulette online, Double Bonus Spin Roulette, European Roulette and Three Wheel Roulette Slots. These all have what the operator calls ‘nonstop action’ where you don’t have to wait for others to place a bet.  The table games selection is rounded off with Baccarat.

There is also a wide range of video poker games, with 2 different variations listed in their featured selection alone. This is one area where Resorts casino exceeded our already high expectations for this operation.

Live Casino - Live dealers from Atlantic City

Another area where this operator excels is in the live dealer selection. Here this Resorts review found that Resorts casinos have drawn on their extensive resources to provide games staffed by real dealers from the casino floor at Atlantic City giving you an authentic experience through video feeds.

These take place between 11am and 3am daily and include several tables for Blackjack, Roulette, 3 card poker and Texas Hold ’em. It should be mentioned that none of these games are available for demo play and can only be accessed using real money.

Because of the authentic casino floor experience, the live dealer experience here would rank among the best we’ve seen, and will provide an excellent stopping place as new users explore the site for the first time.

Limits - Set limits for deposits, spend and time spent on the site

With slots, table games, video poker and live dealer games all legal in New Jersey, there are very few restrictions imposed by Resorts casino. Instead, Resorts allow members to set their own limits, so they neither feel restricted or out of their depth.

Members can set limits on how much they deposit, how much they spend, and even how much time they spend on the site in any given day, week or month. There is further insurance in that they can request cooling off periods and self-exclusion, as well as having access to a number of resources for members who feel a problem may be developing.

Product Summary - One of the best online casinos you’ll find

All of this adds up to a very positive experience. The selection of slots is enough to keep almost anyone happy and offers exclusive slots for those who are harder to please. The selection of table games is excellent and provide the good balance between quality and quantity that other operators fail to master. Of particular note to this Resorts review was the lower stakes Blackjack tables, an area not always catered for on other sites.

Also often neglected by some other operators is the option to demo play, something which is not the case here where a vast majority of games have this option.

What sets this casino operation aside, however, is the quality of the live dealer games between 11am and 3am and the authentic experience of playing with live dealers from the Atlantic City by live video feed. Without this, Resorts casino would be an excellent option to consider for those looking to open an account. But once you add the live dealers into the equation, we would suggest that taking a look at this casino operation is essential.

Overall Conclusion - Put Resorts Casino and Sportsbook at the top of your list of places to visit

Overall, this Resorts review found that this operator has much to recommend it. The casino operation is the standout feature with an excellent selection of games that make you feel like you could be on a casino floor. The sportsbook is straightforward if not spectacular, but members are likely to find this a refreshing change from the slightly overdone sites you might have seen before stopping here.

Once you have benefitted from the generous welcome bonus, there is plenty of reason to stay. The loyalty program goes over and above what you may have seen with other operators, with there being something for even just casual players. There are frequent promotions to keep players interested so there should be little reason to travel elsewhere, and not make your stay at Resorts a long term one.

Resorts Casino New Jersey

Residents of the Garden State are in luck – Resorts Casino is only available in New Jersey for the time being. With over 850 games to choose from, the casino suite is sure to keep you busy for quite some time! From slots to immersive live casino games, you’ll find them all here. Give the popularity of this casino, we’d expect it to branch out to other states as soon as they legalize online gambling.
