Bonus offer - no offer is big enough to join this site

Racoon Vegas has a lame bonus that aims to dupe newcomers to its dodgy gambling site. The welcome offer gives new customers the chance to allegedly receive a 700% match of up to £4,000 when they first sign up with the operator.

This package is split into four equally bad parts, meaning you need to make four deposits to claim all of this welcome bonus. But given the sheer value on offer, surely a little extra admin to make sure you can claim the full amount is worth the hassle? Unfortunately not. There are far too many risks with this offer. Firstly, the wagering requirements are far too steep and secondly you can’t trust this operator to actually pay out your winnings as there have been plenty of issues in this regard in the past.

Racoon Vegas have developed such a poor reputation in their short time online that we’ve outright blacklisted them; so while the bonus may be eye-catching, you’re not going to want to give it a try.

If you’re looking for a legitimate bonus instead, then a good starting point would be the offers available with the PointsBet promo code. Racoon Vegas’ offer is definitely one to be filed as “too good to be true”; it might look the part, but the potential ramifications of trying to claim it are too severe.

Usability, look & feel - an absolute pain to navigate

One thing our Racoon Vegas review noted was how difficult is was to actually use the site itself. You could spend minutes trying to find something that should have taken you seconds on a proper site. That is largely down to how poorly the site has been designed. The layout does not lend itself to ease of use, which is just another reason why we can’t stand this site.

Furthermore, when you actually find a page that you want to see, the page takes ages to load. And these aren’t even pages with odds or live casino games that may take a while; these are just stock standard pages that are struggling to load. Fast internet or not, this site will give you headaches.

There is far too much about the usability and feel of this site that is just unacceptable in our eyes. This is just one more reason they deserve to be on our blacklist.

Payments - don't be fooled by the options

If you do decide to make a deposit to Racoon Vegas (and for a multitude of reasons, we’d suggest you absolutely don’t), then there’s a list of all the payment methods that the operator accepts can be found at the bottom of the homepage.

Deposits can be made in a number of ways including Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafecard, ecopayz, Klarna and e-transfer. You can also use these payment methods to make withdrawals too.

Transaction times entirely depend on where you are accessing the site from. Accessing the site from some locations will see you experience almost instantaneous transaction times. However, if you’re based in the US, because Racoon Vegas is based offshore, it could take up to 72 hours for your funds to reach your account and it’s illegal for you to play there anyway. With that said, our research has indicated that processing times will be the least of your worries when it comes to managing your Racoon Vegas account.

Customer service - don't expect any help here

There are three different ways that customers can attempt (and fail) to contact the Racoon Vegas customer support services. The first way is via the live chat option that can be found on the Racoon Vegas website. An option that is usually quick and reliable has been turned into a monster at Raccoon Vegas. We tested the live chat feature out and were only responded to hours later. So much for a “live” chat then.

Another option is to email the customer support services via a provided email address. You can call them too, though this may incur additional charges so it’s worth a) checking how much it’s going to cost you first and b) making sure that the issue you have with the site warrants paying to speak to a member of the customer service team. Don’t bother at all though, as this method is even worse than the live chat.

Going by user experience, the customer service is a shambles. Racoon Vegas even have a tendency to withhold vital contact information such as their address, and we found the customer service left a lot to be desired.

License and security - majorly lacking in legitimacy

Our Racoon Vegas review found that the operator is licensed by Curacao e-Gaming. Curacao provides little or no regulation and this should be an immediate warning sign. After all, if better licenses exist, why wouldn’t a legitimate operator do all they can in order to ensure they qualify for them? Well, Racoon Vegas is not a legitimate operator as they are an offshore site outside of the US and as such they don’t want to be regulated by any actual gambling authorities as they would almost immediately be shut down.

There isn’t much information about the encryption that can be found on the site either, so there’s another serious red flag there. Encryption should be the standard at any reputable online casino, yet Racoon Vegas have chosen to go without.

With the above considerations combined, the answer to the question, ‘is Racoon Vegas legit?’ is a fairly easy one to answer: not by our assessment. Licensing alone isn’t worth much if the type of license isn’t worth the paper it’s written on and the omission of an online address and no details on encryption is all the more worrying still. Given the plethora of legitimate, licensed, and trustworthy online casinos out there, Racoon Vegas has nothing to offer the savvy modern customer. So as you can see, they have made it onto our blacklist for a very good reason.

Rewards & loyalty programmes - limited bonuses available

Racoon Vegas clearly doesn’t care about its existing customers. We took a look at the promised bonuses for long-term customers of Racoon Vegas, just to see how they fare compared to their competitors. Somewhat unsurprisingly, the offers are similar to the initial sign-up bonuses: they look promising, but there’s still no overlooking the fact the site has significant downsides that make such offers very much not worth your time.

For the sake of thoroughness, let’s look at what this operator are offering. The Reload Bonus will see customers allegedly receive a 100% match on their next deposit of up to £500, and there’s also a bonus that’ll see users receive a £20 free bet the next time a wager goes wrong. Racoon Vegas also runs a dismal promotion every Monday, where customers will be awarded with a 50% match of up to £50 on their total net losses for that day.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if there are 100 bonuses or 10 bonuses available, this site can’t be trusted and so the bonuses really shouldn’t matter at all.

Racoon Vegas Sports Betting

Betting markets - betting markets are not enough to sway us

There are a limited number of different sports that can be bet on on the Racoon Vegas website. Some of these sports include football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey, rugby, cricket, boxing, and MMA which are things that you can bet on pretty much anywhere and in much better ways than what you get at Racoon Vegas.

If you made the mistake of betting on football at Racoon Vegas, you could wager on a number of different leagues from all around the world, including all the big leagues in Europe. As well as being able to bet on the outright result of a football tie, bettors can also wager on the correct score of the game, how many goals are going to be scored, and which players will score. You would think with that many betting markets and leagues that the site would be good enough to use. At this point though, we know that this sportsbook is far from legitimate and as such should never be tested even for a moment.

Odds - mediocre odds on offer

We took a look at what sort of odds Racoon Vegas are offering in comparison to some of the biggest betting providers out there and we were not impressed. The odds that Racoon Vegas were offering for the football, for example, were not even close to the odds on offer at legitimate sites like William Hill or DraftKings.

To see what we mean check how their odds compare with Sportingbet in our Sportingbet review. All of which will give you yet more reasons to avoid Racoon Vegas.

Bleak live betting platform

In play betting is kind of available on the Racoon Vegas website, meaning you can bet on any match you want, but it’s all a bit glitchy. Unsurprisingly, there doesn’t seem to be any streaming to be found on the site, and the lame stat hubs are a poor effort at making the sportsbook feel sophisticated. Take a look at our Boyle Sport review to see whether their live betting capabilities are better than this feeble effort from Racoon Vegas.

Limits - No mention of limits from this rogue operator

Our Racoon Vegas review didn’t find any mention of any limits to your betting, which is perhaps unsurprising given the operator does not appear to be particularly wedded to usual practice. Limits are usually part and parcel of the betting world, so it’s striking to see this omitted from the operator’s provision. All of which means that we’d give Racoon Vegas a miss.

Product summary & conclusion - look elsewhere for sports betting options

Overall, there is nothing to write home about when it comes to Racoon Vegas and their sportsbook. The site is plagued by far too many issues to ever warrant signing up here. If there was ever an online sportsbook to avoid at all costs, it is this one.

Racoon Vegas Casino

Software - no software can repair the damage that is already done

The games in the casino section have been provided by some names that we know well, but we think that Racoon Vegas is lying here. This is because no official software developers will ever give their games to an offshore gambling site that is run illegally outside of the US. As such, there is a strong suggestion that Racoon Vegas has pirated this software illegally to use on their site. One more reason we have added Racoon Vegas to our blacklist, that is for sure.

Game portfolio - sub par game listing

There is a limited number of slot games to be found on the Racoon Vegas website, including some fairly well known slots. However, given what we know about the pirating of games, we can’t in any way trust that these games are legitimate at all. This goes for the table games on the site as well. Simply put, avoid Racoon Vegas.

Live casino - stuttering live casino

There are also a limited number of live casino games available to customers on the Racoon Vegas website. These include some lame versions of roulette, blackjack, and craps. There’s a dismal number of variations of live poker too. All of these live games seem to have live dealers, and will see you playing against other real life players. There are also live game shows where you can play versions of live Monopoly and Deal or No Deal. All of this would be great if the live casino weren’t a stuttering mess. Just like the rest of the site, it’s well short of anything worthwhile.

Limits - no sensible limits to speak of

Again, and still somewhat concerningly, we couldn’t find any mention of any specific limits when it comes to the casino games that can be played on the Racoon Vegas website. If you are wagering too much, or spending too much time on the site, you can self-exclude. You can learn more about self-exclusion in the FAQ section on the Racoon Vegas site. We’d recommend avoiding Racoon Vegas at all costs.

Product summary & conclusion - best to avoid

We were very unimpressed with the casino games that Racoon Vegas has for its customers, and we remain unchanged in our opinion that Racoon Vegas cannot be trusted. There’s a below average catalogue of casino games here. Given our significant reservations about Racoon Vegas as a whole, we’d recommend opting for a more reputable service if you’re looking to play one of the well-regarded titles hosted on the site.

Racoon Vegas Review FAQ

🎰 Is Racoon Vegas available in the UK?

Racoon Vegas isn’t based in the UK, and is therefore an offshore casino. Sometimes offshore casinos won’t allow customers from other countries to play with them, even if they are available to be accessed from that country. Our Racoon Vegas review will let you know as to whether or not you can play their casino games and bet with their sportsbook if you’re based in the UK. However, we’d recommend having nothing to do with Racoon Vegas.

🤔 Is Racoon Vegas legit?

In all of our gambling reviews here at Betting.net, we ensure that every gambling operator that we recommend is legitimate and is a site that can be trusted with your personal details and funds. By reading our review, you’ll quickly find out as to whether or not Racoon Vegas is legit and whether it can be trusted or not! Here at Betting.net, we have reviews of hundreds of operators, such as our Sporting Index review, where we answer the question, ‘is Sporting Index legit?’ to give you an option when you realise just how bad Racoon Vegas is.

🎁 How do I claim the Racoon Vegas welcome bonus?

Racoon Vegas offers new customers a very poor welcome bonus, and there are serious questions over the validity of the operator that should make any fan of iGaming pause in their tracks. To find out more, read through our Racoon Vegas review to see how bad this site is.

Overall conclusion - one to avoid

Now you can see clearly why Racoon Vegas deserved to be added to our blacklist. In all truth, there are so many better options out there if you are looking for an online casino or sportsbook, as seen in our Novibet rating and a plethora of other reviews on this site.

Racoon Vegas has little to offer and their problematic licensing situation combined with extremely negative feedback from users definitely makes them one to avoid. Like we say, sites don’t make it onto our blacklist for no reason, so its best to look for greener pastures.
