PlayFame is one of the more established US sweepstakes casinos and It’s one of the sites that I’ve played the most at. Using my experience and knowledge of this site, I’ve finally created a full PlayFame review.
In this guide, I’ll discuss all the important features so you can see what you can potentially get by playing here. This includes the 1,500+ casino-style games it offers, the desktop and mobile versions of the site, and the security. I’ll also give my thoughts on the legitimacy of the brand, and how it ranks to other top contenders.

Let’s start with the usability of the site like I did in my SweepNext review. I’ve played at both the desktop and mobile versions of this sweepstakes casino for hours, and I can honestly say that I’ve never had a bad experience here. Generally, usability is excellent, and they’ve done a great job of making the site accessible to new and experienced users alike.
PlayFame is certainly not one of the flashiest when it comes to website design, and they definitely play it safe in terms of colors and graphics. But, I prefer it like that. The purple color scheme works great, and the text readability is also excellent. Adding to that, I like the side menu on the left-hand side as this has links to the game categories, Twitch creators, promotions, and the help center. Essentially, everything you need is in that menu and it makes for easy site navigation.
I’ve always found page speeds to be fast too, and I’ve never experienced any technical errors with the site, such as broken links or missing content. It’s just a well-developed website that I think you’ll easily be able to get on with.
Yes, you read that right, there is a PlayFame app! This is surprising, as it’s a known fact that hardly any sweepstakes casinos have developed downloadable apps. But, if you want to play on your Android smartphone, you can indeed download the app from the Google Play Store or from a link on the website. I’ve tested the Android app and it works great! It has a smoother interface and controls compared to the desktop site, and I think they’ve done a good job of compacting layout for small-screen use.
Apple or iOS users will unfortunately have to use the mobile-responsive browser version of the site, but I’ve tested this too, using Safari, and it works great. The reality is that you can barely tell the difference between these two versions, and the app just offers a little more convenience in terms of accessibility and logging in.
Similar to how I did in my Ace.com review, I wanted to make sure that PlayFame was a legit sweepstakes casino. Now, after playing regularly here for a few months, I was fairly confident already, but I still checked for features like regulatory compliance, the virtual currency system, and security measures to protect players like me.
First up, I double-checked the operators’ regulatory compliance. Everything is in order. PlayFame is legit. It does not allow real money deposits, and you can only ever play the games here using the two virtual currencies – Gold Coins (GC) and Sweepstakes Coins (SC). On top of that, from my gaming experience here, I’m confident that they always give you a source of GC and SC to play with, and that no purchase is necessary to play the games.
This sweepstakes casino also has solid security, and I was happy to see loads of documents and content relating to the transparency of its operations. When you use the site, you’ll notice that they use SSL encryption to protect your data, and when I wrote this PlayFame review, there was an active SSL certificate from Google Trust Services.
For transparency, you have a large range of documents relating to their operations – more so than I’ve seen at most other prominent social casinos too. This included a cookie notice, privacy policy, player safety disclosures, terms or service, and a general about page. They are up front about everything, and I’ve never been in any doubt about how the site works.
You can get help if you get stuck here, but I have never been able to find a live chat here which is something they can definitely improve. Live chat is usually the quickest support method, so in its absence, I’ve always had to use the help center and email support ticket system. I’ve sent test emails multiple times at different points of the day, and I’ve generally had a reply within 3-4 hours which is on par with the industry average from my experience.
Despite the lack of live chat, however, their help center is a great support tool. It’s fully searchable and also has a detailed FAQ section that answers questions about how the site works, and other things like its virtual currencies.

You can make optional GC purchases here, and whenever I’ve made one, I’ve been able to use a range of methods including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, plus some cryptocurrencies like Litecoin and Ethereum. The GC purchase process is straightforward, and I’ve never had any issues.
Sweepstakes Coin prize redemptions are also a thing here, of course, but you need at least 75 SC, to have played with your bonus SC 1x, and to have verified your ID. I love the fact that the minimum SC redemption is 75, as for most social casinos it is at least 100.

For the next section of my PlayFame review, let’s look at what entertainment they offer by cracking open the game library. This social casino features 1,500+ casino-style games, and whenever I’ve played here, I’ve noticed that they always add new titles and keep their collection fresh.
The games are provided by some of the best producers you can find, such as:
3 Oaks Gaming and Playson are two of my favorite retro game developers, and I also love the live dealer games from Playtech and ICONIC21. I’m confident that all of these providers are legit, and that they have their games tested for fairness.
You’ve got a pretty decent selection of game categories too, such as:
There’s only really some more niche game categories missing such as bingo and poker, but this wasn’t an issue for me as I rarely play them. I think that no matter what games you enjoy, you’ll find something that you love playing here.
For me, the best game category is the live dealer section. I’ve spent a lot of time playing live blackjack here, for example, but there is also a solid collection of live game shows. For instance, you can enjoy Spin A Win, Mega Party, and Adventures Beyond Wonderland from Playtech Live, and Crash Live from ICONIC21.
To learn more about the specific bonuses at PlayFame and how they work, I’ll explain the welcome bonus, and give you a breakdown of the other bonuses you can get here in this guide. Take note as well that you won’t always need a PlayFame Casino promo code to claim these bonuses.
There is a welcome bonus here which some people call the PlayFame no deposit bonus. However, a no-purchase welcome offer would be the correct term, since PlayFame is a sweepstakes casino. Nevertheless, the concept stays the same: new players will get this bonus as soon as they finish the sign-up process.
If you use the banners we’ve got on this page and register a new account, you’ll get 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweepstakes Coins. This is the minimum I expect social casinos to give as their welcome bonus, and while some sites are giving 100k GC, the PlayFame bonus is still one of the better ones you can get. There’s also an optional first-purchase bonus where new customers can claim 120,000 Gold Coins plus 60 SC FREE and a 1 Spin on the Bronze Wheel, with up to 500 SC FREE, for $29.99.
The welcome bonus is a solid starting point, but PlayFame also offers these promotions and bonuses:
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading my PlayFame review – I had loads of fun creating it, and it reminded me how great this US sweepstakes casino is. PlayFame is not without its flaws though, and I still think they need to add a live chat support method and an app for Apple devices. However, these suggestions do not take away the fact that PlayFame is a solid operator. The cons are outweighed by the pros.
This site has 1,500+ games to dive into, an epic live dealer collection, and an incredibly easy-to-use website. Everything is also made more enjoyable by the superb promotions and bonus features they offer. If you like what you’ve seen and you want to try it out for yourself, just click any of the PlayFame links or banners on this page to get signed up and to get your 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC welcome bonus.
PlayFame has two virtual currencies which you can use to play hundreds of different casino-style games with. You can potentially redeem your Sweepstakes Coin virtual currency for cash prizes. You need a minimum of 100 SC to do this, to have a fully verified ID, and to have played with any bonus SC at least 1x.
I’m 100% positive that it is. It follows US sweepstakes casino regulations as well. Additionally, there’s plenty of potential ways for you to get more virtual currencies, and I’m happy that they comply with the no purchase necessary requirement.
No. PlayFame is a social casino where you play games using two virtual currencies – Gold Coins and Sweepstakes Coins. You can only ever get GC or SC winnings back from your gaming – never real money.
You have to live in the US and be over 18 or 21 depending on which state you are from. Also, PlayFame is NOT available in these locations – California, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Washington, Louisiana, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia and Connecticut.
Yes. I checked the security features of this site and was happy to see SSL encryption, plus HTTPS connectivity which means your personal details should be protected. Not only that, but the site has excellent transparency including documentation for privacy, layer safety, cookies, DMCA policy, and responsible social gameplay tools.

Trading financial products carries a high risk to your capital, especially trading leverage products such as CFDs. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Between 74-89% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
