Bonus offer - steep wagering requirements

The online gaming market is extremely competitive. As such, both new and pioneering operators have to employ the necessary measures to stand a fighting chance against their competitors. Carbon Gaming has shamefully attempted to grab a piece of the pie by using a feeble 25% match bonus up to $250. This isn’t just small, but it gets even worse when you read the fine print attached to this offer.

A closer look into the bonus terms and conditions revealed that players must fulfil 35x wagering requirements. Ideally, low playthrough conditions provide a fair chance at getting a real money payout. In our opinion, 35x is way too high with just seven days to achieve the bonus. Operators like Pointsbet require players to insert a Pointsbet promo code to unlock the bonus that is much better than this lame deal from Carbon Gaming.

The 35x wagering requirements are clearly an uphill battle. Plus we’ve realized that providing this operator with your personal details may pose an even bigger problem. With a tarnished reputation, creating a Carbon Gaming account and claiming a bonus may well prove too risky. As such, we recommend that you look at our other reviews to find better bonuses from legit casino sites.

Usability, look & feel - poor aesthetics and functionality

If there’s one thing we discovered while compiling this Carbon Gaming review, it’s that the operator clearly has put minimal effort into the site itself. The site is an eye sore when you first enter it but, most importantly, it’s difficult to use. If you are new to online gambling, this site would make you run back the other way as it feels like you a trying to solve a complex equation while you navigate around the site.

Carbon Gaming includes a couple of filters that are supposed to make navigating the site easier; however, we found that they did nothing helpful at all.  One of the main gripes we have with the betting site as far as navigation is concerned is that you can only access important things like bonuses, promotions, deposits, withdrawals, and contact info after you register. Plenty of reasons to avoid Carbon Gaming.

Payments - lacking quantity and quality

Very few things can get an operator to lose business faster than the dodgy handling of customer deposits and withdrawals. Does Carbon get a raving recommendation similar to the Caesars Casino rating where efficient payment systems are concerned? Nope. Carbon Gaming doesn’t have the most comprehensive list of payment options on the market. The operator includes at least one type of card, wallet and online banking platforms such as Mastercard, Cash Transfer and Skrill. Bear in mind that most legit card providers and banks won’t let you use their services at an offshore casino like Carbon Gaming.

Players can deposit using Visa. If you opt for the former, the minimum deposit is high $5 and a very high $25 for the latter. When withdrawing, you can use Wire Transfer or Check. The maximum withdrawal amount is a rather lackluster $5,000, depending on the method. It is also worth noting that any additional withdrawals attract a 3% charge which is very steep all things considered.

One of the main reasons we have blacklisted Carbon Gaming is due to its deceitfulness. As they operate as an offshore site outside the US, they need to use payment methods that will bypass bank blocks for players.

Having noted the payment options on hand, we feel you mustn’t forget the fact that Carbon Gaming seems to be shrouded in mystery. As such, you should be very wary when depositing on their site and we’d recommend giving Carbon Gaming a miss.

Customer service - not good enough

Customer support is something else that Carbon Gaming needs to work on. After all, even the most skilled players will need to have their account fixed or require other types of assistance from an operator at some point. Whether you need help with registering your account, depositing, or simply need general info about the casino, a responsive support team is a good thing.

As we took a closer look at the customer service section in this Carbon Gaming review, we noticed that 24-hour support is allegedly part of the package. However, based on our own experience, the live chat platform and email were poorly populated, resulting in lengthy waiting times. At the time of putting together this review, support was only available in English, too.

Judging from the few Carbon Gaming gambling reviews we could find online, Carbon Gaming is less than transparent and does not meet its initial promise of providing 24/7 support. This will make it difficult for you to rectify any issues that may crop up. We were hoping that the support team here would help us give Carbon Gaming a better rating but all it did was make us realize even further why this platform has made it onto our blacklist.

License & security - falling short of the mark

So let’s look at the reasons why you simply cannot trust Carbon Gaming. Any operator who’s not very forthcoming on their licensing status risks being perceived as a scam by potential customers. In fact, the lack of a gambling license is a deal-breaker for many gamers. So, is Carbon Gaming legit? Our review team established that this bookie has an Antigua Online Gaming Association license (OGA). We were expecting the site to have obtained a license from a recognized US gambling authority, but no luck here as Carbon Gaming is an offshore gambling site.

The OGA is also not exactly known for making it difficult to receive a gambling license either so we are not convinced at all by this operator and their current license. Furthermore, the site operates as an offshore gambling site outside of the US which means that they are in direct conflict with the official gambling laws in the country. This is why we have blacklisted this site, as it is in no way legal for you to use in the US.

Another indicator that they are operating illegally is that even given the chance to gain a license in states that allow gambling, they declined and pulled out of those states. This shows that they don’t want to be regulated as the gambling authorities will almost certainly find something that will put them out of business.

A further evaluation of the security aspects of Carbon Gaming unveils that the site falls well short when it comes to user security. We can’t stress enough how unsafe this platform is to use for our readers. We highly recommend that you check out a legitimate online operator with our Sugarhouse review instead of risking your online security at Carbon Gaming.

Rewards & loyalty program - none to speak of

Carbon Gaming is so bad that it doesn’t even have a reward program. Successful online gaming site operators know that offering a generous welcome package to attract new players is only a fraction of the job. With the number of gaming sites emerging, players can afford to be as fickle as ever and jump ship if they no longer find their current bookie appealing. Offering rewards or loyalty programs is a tried and tested method for retaining, motivating, and increasing player loyalty.

At the time of writing Carbon Gaming didn’t have any distinct loyalty program in place. The lack of a loyalty program may not deter you completely. However, with more issues surrounding Carbon Gaming than simply a non-existent VIP scheme, it’s become clear that this operator falls way short of the mark. Don’t get too caught up with the additional promotions on offer at this terrible gambling site either – we noted complex terms and unsavory requirements across the board.

We do hope that you take note of the fact that the Carbon Gaming platform doesn’t deliver in various key operational aspects. Check out our 4NJBets review for a quality and reliable bookmaker instead of wasting your time at Carbon Gaming.

CarbonGaming Sports Betting

Betting markets - poor effort

At first glance, the sports betting section looks just like any other bookie out there. But as you probably know, the caliber of sports and betting markets that a bookmaker provides is what differentiates them from their competitors. Yet again, Carbon Gaming falls short of the mark, offering a sub-standard selection of sports betting markets.

Odds - Will you find competitive odds? Nope

Don’t come to Carbon Gaming for decent betting odds. The odds offered by any bookie may not always be what you were hoping to get. They, however, should at least be competitive enough to make your betting efforts lucrative if you win. The odds were simply not good enough and with the reputation the operator has, we wouldn’t hold out hope that they would pay out your winnings in a timely fashion or at all.

Live betting & streaming options – not worth it

Carbon Gaming offers a temperamental live streaming and in-play betting experience on sports like football but the services are slow and difficult to use for the most part. Again, unless they gave you a gold plated remote for the live streaming plus cash, we’d give this sportsbook a skip altogether.

Betting limits - more reasons to skip Carbon Gaming

You can’t review a bookie without zeroing in on the betting limits involved. Why? Bettors want to know if the site offers reasonable betting limits to get real value out of the experience. Carbon sports betting comes through with a weird and unsettling approach, preferring to set the maximum bet limit based on a particular event. In essence, that means the maximum betting amount is determined by the odds on the game. And the system will calculate the maximum betting limit for you as and when you place bets on a particular game. All of which sounds suspicious and another reason to avoid Carbon Gaming.

Conclusion - dreadful sports betting here

Carbon Gaming cannot be trusted for sports betting. The live streaming is poor, in-play betting is unresponsive, available betting markets are limited, and limits are shady. Check out the rest of our site where you will find plenty of reviews of reputable and safe online sportsbooks to use instead.

CarbonGaming Casino

Software providers - unknown and poor providers

The selection of software providers that a bookie works with directly impacts the quality of games in their catalogs. Most of the games at Carbon Gaming are from Betsoft which we have found to be notoriously shady. Betsoft has a shocking history of gaming development, that’s just the simple truth. As such, we found the casino section of the site is something that we would avoid and so should you.

Game portfolio - find better gaming options elsewhere

As we went into detail with our Carbon Gaming review, we discovered that the gaming selection lacks any quality or quantity. There are a couple of slots and table games to play but considering that they have almost all been provided by Betsoft you can expect them to run poorly and without any real enjoyment. There are countless more reliable and more enjoyable online casinos in the industry right now which means you can easily afford to skip Carbon Gaming altogether.

Live casino - nothing to see here

Carbon Gaming doesn’t have any live casino games. An operator that doesn’t offer live casino games risks losing a sizable number of gamers who are all for the live gaming experience. Players love the idea of not having to set foot outside their door but stream their favorite games complete with live dealers onto their devices.

Unfortunately, Carbon Gaming is bordering on this risky edge because, at the time of compiling this review, a live dealer section wasn’t available. This is in line with our general feeling about this site, overall, just too risky.

Dismal limits for casual gamers and high rollers

The table limits determine the kind of gamer who’ll sign with the operator, which is why the matter deserves coverage in our Carbon Gaming review. To be honest though, there wasn’t nearly enough information on the betting limits on the site itself which leads us to believe that Carbon Gaming has something to hide.

Conclusion - do yourself a favor and avoid Carbon Gaming

Would we recommend Carbon Gaming as a worthy gambling operator? Simply put, no, we would not. Their casino section is lacking in key areas and overall, we would not trust this site with our own money and neither should you. There are plenty of other online casinos for you to use instead that you can find on our site and we highly recommend that you do so.

Carbon Gaming FAQ

🕵️ Is Carbon Gaming legit?

We’ve reviewed several operators in our time, and legitimacy issues never slip through the cracks. Just like any cautious player would ask: Is Resorts legit?, we asked the same of Carbon Gaming, players don’t need to search too deep to find the answer as you’ll quickly find that Carbon Gaming is an untrustworthy offshore casino site. As you’ll find in our guides, most legit casinos have no problem displaying the licensing details on their page.

🎰 How many games are available at Carbon?

In our experience, an online casino’s game catalogue can make or break its reputation with players. That’s because gamers want to access enough quantity and variety of games to stay entertained for hours. As you’ll find in Betting.net guides, the same applies to the software studios in charge of the game lobby. Fancy a laugh? Check out just how poorly Carbon Gaming rates amongst credible competitors in our latest Carbon Gaming review.

⚽ What sports are available at the Carbon sports betting site?

For bettors to give a bookie the time of day, the betting site must allow them to bet on their favorite sports. Now, different bettors have different interests in sports. The best a worthy bookie can do is offer as many sports as possible while including popular and loved sports. Adding other non-typical sports is an excellent move that allows the bettor to widen its reach further. Our guides provide excellent pointers to some of the most lucrative sports on which you can place bets. Just remember not to come to Carbon Gaming for sports betting.

Overall conclusion - Avoid Carbon Gaming!

With distinctly poor customer service, a clunky website and a staggeringly limited range of sports to bet on, this site should be avoided at all costs. Even if these points were all positive we would still avoid this site purely based on their lack of US licensing. Beyond that, it just isn’t safe enough to use and everything about this site seems to yield a red flag.

We must underline the fact that Carbon Gaming comes up short in vital aspects. The lack of transparent information on their official site is cause for concern. Plus, without a recognized US gambling license, we have been forced to blacklist Carbon Gaming. Take a look at our alternative reviews for a wide variety of options to choose from!
