WARNING: Our BetNow betting review found that this is a illegal gambling site. Take a look below to see why you should skip BetNow and take a vacation with one of our recommended sportbooks instead!
Not only does BetNow have a lack of proper licensing but everything else about this site is suspect. We found poor betting odds, a bland selection of casino games and even the bonuses were deceptive. So travel with us to see why you should strike BetNow off your travel list!
If you’ve been looking for a top betting destination, then you’ve probably noticed that there are plenty of other options out there. We stress this because we recommend approaching BetNow with caution, or simply avoiding. In what is a pretty competitive market, many top platforms have special offers to entice visitors to their website – and BetNow initially looks almost satisfactory, but has failed in other areas.
Our BetNow review has found that new users are being duped with a 100% welcome bonus. This is a pretty lame offering as users can also opt to take just 50%, or even 25%. The offer requires a high minimum deposit of $20 and the maximum bonus funds available is a poor $500 – regardless of the package chosen. Each option has differing rollover requirements that all suck. For the 100% offer, you need to wager your initial deposit a seriously high 10 times. For 50%, it’s a tough eight times and for 25% it’s a nasty five times. So, there is some variety but not really enough for us to promote this bonus offer with any kind of fervor.
We like to review the usability of sites to make sure that they are at least not a pain to navigate around when you are looking for your favorite casino games or sporting events. Needless to say, using the Betnow platform is all of the above. The pages that we hopped between took ages to load and the whole layout of the site was pretty disappointing. It is clearly not enough that the site has a shady history and poor user reviews but they have put next to no effort into maintaining an efficient website.
Overall, there is next to nothing to enjoy about using the site itself. You wouldn’t even need to see the negative user reviews of the past. All you would need is five minutes using the site to know that it is one that you should avoid. Take a look at a more reliable betting site option with our SportingBet review, as the platform is far more reliable and trustworthy.
So let’s look at why you shouldn’t trust BetNow with your money. Flexibility is always a bonus and at betting.net we believe that a platform should offer plenty of ways to pay – which is why our Novibet rating was so high, for example, as the platform supports such a diverse array of payment methods. We found that BetNow did not match them in this regard at all as their options are limited and the processing times are lengthy.
If you are willing to take a risk with BetNow and invest your time and money with this provider, which is licensed by an inferior licensor, then you can fund your BetNow online account using the traditional methods you might expect – Visa, Mastercard and American Express. These may appear to be decent options but we really wouldn’t be fooled, as the withdrawal processes are notoriously poor on this site.
All in all, the payment methods available on the site and the sheer difficulty in trying to make a withdrawal simply add even more reasons to avoid this site. We have added Betnow to our blacklist for several reasons and frankly, the payment methods were one of the major ones. For more reliable payment methods from a bookmaker that you can trust we suggest taking a look at our Boyle Sports Review rather than risk your money at BetNow.
Bad news, as BetNow suck at customer support. You never know when you may need to get in touch with a platform. Perhaps you’ve managed to get lost on the site or have a query regarding bonus terms. In any case it’s always good to know that help is on hand when you need it.
Unfortunately, our BetNow review found that the customer support available is poor to say the least. Whether you try to call them via telephone or email, the customer support team almost dance around your questions deliberately without actually giving you any clear information. Any important information you need about making withdrawals or claiming bonus winnings will be responded to with vagaries and diversions. This all suggests that the negative user reviews about this site are true and that is why we have added them to our blacklist.
So let’s take a closer look at why you shouldn’t trust BetNow. Naturally, you’ll want to know that you’re headed to a safe destination – especially if you will be trusting a betting site with your funds. This can often be confirmed by checking a platform’s regulatory and licensing credentials, as well as considering its reputation within the industry.
For example, if someone asks us, is Sporting Index legit? We can point them to our review which details all of the platform’s operating licenses, as well as any other important affiliations. We didn’t find any license numbers when carrying out our BetNow review, which raises the question – is BetNow legal?
When it comes to licensing, BetNow has selected the least reliable license available. They are using the Curacao Gaming Authority – which sparks huge concerns. They are operating as an offshore site outside the US, which goes against the current federal laws. That is the main reason why they have found their way onto our blacklist. Ultimately, when investing money, you want your gambling licensor to be a reliable authority. We feel there are far more credible choices of license that can assure players they are safe. All in all, the licensing situation indicates that the Betnow platform is far from legitimate, which is why we recommend going with a more trustworthy online operator. Take a look at our Novibet rating as this is a strong platform that you can trust.
We found a dodgy reward program at BetNow that simply served as a way of getting you to spend more money at this poor gambling site. While it’s only right that betting platforms have something for their repeat visitors, BetNow’s reward program simply isn’t good enough.
The scheme is fairly straightforward: users accrue points every time they bet $1 or more and these points can be saved up to unlock prizes, such as odds boosters and bonus spins, or even exchanged for cash funds for use on the BetNow sportsbook and/or casino. Not exactly a wonder of the world then. And quite honestly, we would not hold our breath that you will be paid your loyalty program winnings anyway, as the withdrawal processes on the site are well and truly awful.
When you arrive at the BetNow sports betting platform, you’ll find there are listed betting markets to choose from for your favorite sporting events. However, the range of sporting events on the site only covers major leagues and hardly offers players any diversity.
The lack of options on the site is in keeping with the theme of this site: that they fall short in all important areas. If sports betting is your game, check out the rest of our site for a platform that can actually provide you with strong betting options.
Aside from welcome offers, odds are probably the number one reason for choosing one betting platform over another. We took a look at the numbers put up on the BetNow sports betting platform and found them to be below par at best. Whilst you aren’t likely to find any odds substantially better than competitor sites, BetNow don’t even meet industry standards.
The BetNow sports betting platform has a dismal offering when it comes to events and betting lines – and this includes in-play betting. You can barely bet on football, baseball, tennis, soccer, hockey and basketball, which is way less than what you get elsewhere. We were not all that surprised to find BetNow doesn’t have a live streaming service and there is little in the way of live betting stats feeds. This simply continues the theme that this site is lacking in crucial areas.
Limits can be hard to summarise as many platforms enforce them at their discretion. However, we were pleased to find that the BetNow sports betting limits are published for all to see as it showed how this site cannot match legit betting sites. The wager limits vary hugely according to the event, level and bet type and even the day of the week on which you place your bet. All of these limits aren’t as good as the competition’s. There is hardly any information on their site about any of their other limits though, which just makes us think that they are trying to hide even more from their players. A site to be avoided for sure.
BetNow is one of the worst sportsbooks in the industry right now, by some margin. The betting markets are limited, the sporting events available hardly cover any tournaments and leagues and the betting features are slow and tedious to use. All of the above points to why they have found themselves on our blacklist.
A casino is only as good as its games and games are only as good as the developers behind them. Our BetNow casino review team found it a bit of a challenge to discover which developers were on board – usually this information is displayed somewhere. Another sign that BetNow cannot be trusted.
From what we could ascertain, most of the slot games were developed by AmigoTechs Casino. Table games were either AmigoTechs or BF Gaming. And while these are OK software developers, it’s not enough to warrant using this online casino by any means.
BetNow casino doesn’t have the largest selection of casino games, as it would appear that the platform is more focused on its sports betting provision. No surprise there then.
There is very little to like about the casino section on the site. This only further cements our initial impression of this site as a site to be avoided at all costs.
Slots machines and video card games are all well and good, but nothing beats a trip to the live casino tables. BetNow casino offers live casino 24/7, including roulette, blackjack, baccarat and Super 6. Once again, the offering is slightly limited compared to the bigger casinos and again we can’t say we are surprised. Why put effort into the site when they are clearly just trying to make a quick buck off of vulnerable players?
BetNow casino limits will vary according to which game you are playing, and these limits quickly get annoying as they aren’t as flexible as what you get with legit casino sites. . Live casino tables, for example, will include minimum and maximum bets, according to the table you choose. These range from $1 – $1,000 for roulette, $5 – $1,000 for Baccarat and $10 – $5,000 for blackjack. Digital games may also have limits, but these will vary from title to title and they again suffer when compared against decent online casinos.
The BetNow casino is an absolute mess that offers little in the way of casino gaming enjoyment. Just as we found with their sportsbook, the casino offers limited options for casino gaming enthusiasts. There is no reason why you shouldn’t find a better online casino on our site as BetNow can’t and shouldn’t be trusted by our readers.
Having checked in at a new betting destination, promotions are often the first port of call for new users. The betting industry on the whole is pretty competitive, so we expect to see at least some sort of welcome offer and BetNow is no exception. However, it is not legal in the US and has several other undelying problems. Read our full BetNow review for full details.
Some platforms deliver their special offers via a voucher or code. For example, you may have a BetDaq promo code that has to be entered when making a deposit with that particular platform. Others, on the other hand, will simply allow you to ‘opt in’ without needing a code. To find out about terrible BetNow bonus requirements, why not check out our platform review?
Some platforms focus on sports betting, others are primarily set up for casino fans. However, these days, most leading betting platforms offer both sports betting and casino. This is great for users who want plenty of options, but if you read our BetNow review you’ll find that even multi-product sites still lean towards either sports betting or casino as their main offering. We will also advise of cautions you need to consider when using this website.
Betting on the go is more popular than ever and any operator that hopes to make an impact in the world of online gambling needs to make sure its platform can be used effortlessly across a variety of devices. BetNow doesn’t have a dedicated mobile app because it is not legal in the US and it is a blacklisted operation.
Here at Betting.net, we think that sports and casino fans should always have plenty of options when funding their gaming accounts – especially with the myriad digital payment methods on offer these days. As part of our BetNow review, we took a look at the different ways in which you can fund your account – and how long each method takes for funds to clear when you make withdrawals. We also express our views on the recent concerns regarding licensing at BetNow.
So that brings our BetNow review to a close. Just to remind you, BetNow is a blacklisted site and one that you should avoid at all costs.
It has no US licensing, which means that it is operating directly against the gambling laws of the country. That is arguably the most important reason that they have made it onto our blacklist, but as we have shown you, there are plenty of other areas for concern beyond that.
So, for now we recommend checking out the rest of our gambling reviews to find a better alternative for you to enjoy safe sports betting or online casino gaming.
