Winstar World to build 6,500-seat entertainment venue with Lucas Oil

Winstar World Casino and Resort has collaborated with Lucas Oil Products to build a new 6,500-seated entertainment venue later this year. Per the partnership agreement, the venue will be called Lucas Oil Live.

As the biggest casino in the United States, Winstar’s expansion promises to build on its massive gaming floor’s 400,000 square feet. Beyond that, it will also serve as a live concert facility for visitors to enjoy and will welcome back the live concerts Winstar shut down during the pandemic.

“The Lucas Oil Live venue enhances the resort experience for our guests and music fans as we once again welcome live entertainment. Our guests will enjoy an electric atmosphere in a venue that is almost double the capacity of our former venue and offers additional amenities that enhance the live entertainment experience,” general manager Jack Parkinson said.

“The sonic and technical capabilities of this new venue allow us to continue to attract the most popular artists in the industry.”

Winstar shut down its previous entertainment venue, the Global Event Center, during the pandemic’s peak. However, the Center will reopen and return with live entertainment after the Lucas Oil Live expansion.

Growing bigger

Winstar Casino and Resort offer an expansive list of entertainment possibilities in its massive establishment.

The casino’s 400,000 square feet gaming floor offers nine different gaming plazas with over 10,000 electronic and slot games, 100 table games, 55 poker tables and much more.

Its Global Event Center has also hosted many renowned artists, such as Dolly Parton, John Legend and Maroon 5.

The new Lucas Oil Live expansion promises to add to the Event Center’s 250,000 square feet area. It will also bring more amenities to the live entertainment venue, including VIP, Suite and Club areas.

Winstar announced that Lucas Oil Live would open in the fall, built near the upcoming 304-room Spa Tower Hotel.
