Wahlburgers plans to open at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut

According to an announcement on Wednesday, a new Wahlburgers restaurant will be opened at the hotel and casino complex next summer.

“The addition of Wahlburgers signifies yet another exceptional property moment as we continue our mission to elevate the Foxwoods experience,” Jason Guyot, president and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino, said.

“Like Foxwoods, Wahlburgers is a family-owned business that has ties to the local community and offers a premium guest experience. We look forward to a very successful partnership.”

The restaurant will provide a unique experience for visitors to Foxwoods. Not only that, Wahlburgers will also provide a special menu that is exclusive to the resort casino’s location and honors its long history.

This menu will be a work of collaboration between Chef Paul and the Foxwoods culinary team.

Fresh burgers and sandwiches, creative entrée salads, delectable appetizers or “Wahlbites,” as well as vegetarian selections will be available on the menu.

A full-service bar will also be found in the restaurant. It will provide signature “Wahlcoctions” cocktails and the “Wahlbrewski” unfiltered pale ale.

“Growing up not too far from Foxwoods Resort Casino, it is a natural fit for our team and we are excited to open a Wahlburgers at the property,” Mark Wahlberg said. “I personally am a fan of its Lake of Isles Golf course, and know that Foxwoods is a place Wahlburgers’ guests will also love to visit.”

“We look forward to bringing our made-from-scratch philosophy to the resort casino, and cannot wait to serve our amazing guests next year.”

Since March, Foxwoods’ dining options have added three new restaurants. Besides the Wahlburgers, Foxwoods recently launched its Canopy Players’ Lounge which is a 7,000 square foot largest buffet-style lounge.

Foxwoods has also started building Sushi By Bou. It prides itself on its intimate omakase-style sushi dining experience with a private “sushi suite.”

The Golden Dragon restaurant at Foxwoods will also undergo an amazing remodel, and Dunkin’ will get a new name and location.

According to the hotel, the restaurant will be located in the present Fuddruckers site at Foxwoods. The Fuddruckers is currently scheduled to close in September.
