In the latest Tottenham news, manager Mauricio Pochettino insists he is feeling relaxed at the club despite seeing his troops lose their last three games in all competitions.
The north London outfit were criticised in the summer after they failed to make any new signings but Pochettino did manage to keep hold of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld.
Spurs have since come under fire after they revealed their new stadium would not be ready in time, with Wembley still being used as their temporary home.
Pochettino’s men lost either side of the international break to Watford and Liverpool and that has seen them drop down to sixth in the Premier League table.
They also lost their opening game of their Champions League campaign against Inter on Tuesday night and the pressure is now on Pochettino to improve his team’s results.
However, the Argentinian insists he is feeling relaxed and he has a plan in place ahead of the next league game against Brighton.
“We have a plan, and then you win or lose but the plan is to help the players to arrive in some moments in their best,” he said.
“No I stick with the decision we made in the past. Now it’s easy to blame or regret different things, that is the easy way to avoid responsibility. I’m not going to avoid responsibility.
“The group is, of course, a little bit anxious about winning games because it is normal when you don’t win the atmosphere and the energy is different but that happens.
“I am so relaxed. I’m so calm. I know football very well.”
