Rush Street International joins Grupo Multimedios to launch casino, sportsbook in Mexico

On June 30, 2022, Rush Street Interactive launched an online casino and sportsbook in Mexico called RushBet.mx. The launch made the company the first operator to have a presence in the second-largest Latin American country.

Following the launch, 130 million users in the state can now enjoy RushBet.mx, and the RushBet Mobile App is compatible with iOS and Android users. Users with a minimum age of 18 years can immediately register and enjoy the services provided by Rush Street Interactive.

RushBet’s iGaming offering in Mexico includes more than 350 slot machines and table games. The company also offers live dealer table games through Evolution Gaming.

When it comes to sports betting, RushBet will provide betting markets on domestic and international sporting events, as well as Liga MX, Mexico’s top soccer league. Aside from that, bettors will be able to watch live streaming games and events from across the world on the platform.

Before going live in Mexico, RushBet had become a regulated sports betting site in Colombia in 2018. In an interview, Richard Schwartz, CEO of Rush Street Interactive, said the company would leverage its experience in Colombia to attract more Mexican bettors.

To accomplish this purpose, the casino and sportsbook launch in Mexico is licensed and carried out in partnership with Grupo Multimedios under an agreed 25-year relationship. Grupo Multimedios is one of Mexico’s most prestigious media firms. This company operates 22 television stations, 63 radio stations, sports apps, and digital news.

In this regard, Angel Cong, Co-CEO of Multimedios, applauds Rush Street Interactive’s achievement and hopes for a similar outcome in Mexico.
