NBA Championship Winners

Phoenix +260

The odds for Phoenix winning are astronomically high. They did win eight games more than any team this year, and when played in a series, they look hard to beat. Injuries can always happen, and last year no number one teams even made it to the conference championships (#2 Suns vs. #4 Clippers/#3 Bucks vs. #5 Hawks). Last year it was all about the Nets and Sixers and they both got knocked out early. Anything can happen.

Giannis is averaging almost 30 points per game with 11 and a half rebounds per game. Furthermore, Holiday, Portis, & Middleton playing with Giannis are firing on all cylinders. They are a three seed, the same seeding they were last year when they won it all.

Miami +1000

Miami holds the top spot in the East. However, they have the sixth best odds to win the Championship (Fourth best in the East alone).  The Heat lead the league in three point percentage (38%) and rank in the top three in true shooting percentage. Offensively they are a solid team worth noting in the East. They are also looking to redeem themselves after a blowout to the Bucks last year.

Memphis +1200

Memphis is the best of all the underrated teams this year. They are the number two team in the West, with the second most games won this year (56). However, they are ranked behind the Warriors (+1000) in odds to win the title. The Grizzlies lead the league in blocks (6.5, .7 more than any other team), steals (800, 62 more than any other team), steals per game (9.8, .8 more than any other team), total rebounds (4,032 199 more than any other team), offensive rebounds (1,159, 63 more than any other team, and the most assists per turnovers (7.8, which is really good). Memphis is good at controlling the ball, they are good at creating turnovers, and they are good at defending the rim on both sides of the court.
