The NBA Conference Finals are on their way after an impressive Conference Semi-Finals. Dallas stunned Suns fans in Phoenix, with a Game 7 slaughtering (123-90), as Luka himself scored a very impressive 35 points. The Celtics vs Bucks also went into Game 7 as Boston won by 28 points at home. The Warriors probably would not have won if Morant stayed healthy (he averaged 38.3 ppg, 3.0 steals, & 8.3 assists in the three games he played). However, the Warriors squeaked by on Game 6 to make it to the NBA Conference Finals. Lastly, Jimmy Butler and the Heat beat out the 76ers in Philly during their Game 6. Miami already earned their first win against Boston on Tuesday with a 118-107 victory. The Celtics have taken the hardest path to the Conference Finals by sweeping the Nets, and winning against last year’s champs, The Bucks. Tatum and Butler have both been playing MVP caliber basketball with similar stats (both 27.5 ppg, 5.3 defensive rebounds per game, & 5.5 apg last series alone). Butler’s 41 points and Miami’s 22-2 run to start the second half showed how the Heat can make it to the Finals. Don’t just bet for spread, get all the Tips for Basketball Online Betting.
Luka averaged 32.6 ppg, 9.9 rpg, & 2.1 spg against the heavy favorited Suns. Golden State struggled to get past Memphis, even after Morant was injured due to their great defense and shiftiness. Now the Warriors are up against arguably the best player in basketball right now (other than Giannis &/or Jokic). Brunson is also playing elevated basketball, especially during the last series against the Suns. The three remaining are getting long in the tooth, and the newbies: Wiggins and Poole are serviceable. However, Curry isn’t the superstar he used to be. This is Luka’s league now.
Butler just put up 41 points against Boston, and is essentially averaging 30 points per game, which is fourth best in the playoffs (only behind Giannis, Luka, & Jokic). The whole team plays well though, look for Adebayo and Herro to make significant plays to have the Heat beat the Celtics.
Dallas handled the Jazz in six games, before beating the Phoenix Suns last round. It seemed like everyone and their mother had chosen Phoenix to win it all, but Luka and the Mavs doused the number one seed. If Dallas wins, it is almost for certain that Luka is the reason and will get the MVP).
Boston has been one of the more underrated teams in the tournament. They were the team that was thought to lose to the Nets and then the Bucks. But here they are. I can’t see them beating the Heat, but look at what they did to Giannis and Milwaukee. Tatum has flipped the switched and has become an elite player.
The Warriors are the new favorites to win it all after Phoenix lost last round. The Warriors aren’t what they used to be, and even though they beat the Grizzlies, it was not done impressively. If going for the Warriors look to Thompson for taking the MVP over Curry. They are playing similar ball, and in the Finals, anything can happen.
