In the latest Liverpool news, manager Jurgen Klopp insists his side will be brave as they try to match Real Madrid’s experience in the Champions League final.
The Reds remain in training as they prepare to head to Kiev ahead of the final on Saturday.
Liverpool will be looking to win their first major trophy since 2012, while Madrid are looking to become the first team to win the Champions League three years in a row.
Since Klopp took charge, Liverpool have lost in Carabao Cup and Europa League finals but the former Borussia Dortmund man is confident they can make up for their lack of experience on the big stage.
Madrid have looked vulnerable on occasions this season and Klopp is adamant his men will attack from the off.
He told reporters: “They are more experienced, that is a fact. If there was a market for experience that should sell it, because they would be even more rich than they are already.
“It is an advantage to be more experienced but you can level it with desire, with readiness, with attitude, with work-rate. You can level it. That is what I love in football.
“We have our own experience. We don’t have that positive experience where we won our last two finals, or whatever, but we made our own experience.
“As a group they are very strong. That is all fact but it is still football and we have a chance.”
Midfielder Emre Can has returned to training ahead of the final and the Reds can be backed at 2/1 to win with Ladbrokes.
