Louisianians have a lot to celebrate right now. Sports betting was legalized across the Pelican State last summer, so residents could finally join in on the fun, but on January 28, 2022, online and mobile sports betting was given the go ahead too.

In June 2021, Governor John Bel Edwards signed the first bills that started the process to legalize gambling across Louisiana. Nine of these parishes did not agree with the legalization bill so gambling is prohibited in Caldwell, Catahoula, Franklin, Jackson, LaSalle, Sabine, Union, West Carroll and Winn. The good news for residents and visitors to Shreveport, being situated in the parish of Caddo, means that you are free to bet as you wish. Where can I place sports bet in Shreveport?
