Is sports betting allowed in Shreveport?

What is the latest position regarding sports betting rules in Shreveport?

In June 2021, Governor John Bel Edwards signed the first bills that started the process to legalize gambling across Louisiana. Nine of these parishes did not agree with the legalization bill so gambling is prohibited in Caldwell, Catahoula, Franklin, Jackson, LaSalle, Sabine, Union, West Carroll and Winn. The good news for residents and visitors to Shreveport, being situated in the parish of Caddo, means that you are free to bet as you wish. Most city areas voted yes, so online sports betting in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Lafayette is also legal.
