Napoli have won ten league matches on the bounce in Serie A, but Lorenzo Insigne feels they made need to win all their remaining games to win the Italian title.

Maurizio Sarri’s men have been outstanding this season and have lost just one of their 26 league games, as they go in search of their first title in 28 years.

Unfortunately for Gli Azzurri, their only defeat came against nearest rivals Juventus and they can’t shake off the defending champions.

Napoli currently hold a four-point lead at the top of the table, following Monday’s thumping 5-0 win at Cagliari, but second-placed Juve have a game in hand after their weekend clash with Atalanta was postponed due to heavy snow.

With 12 games remaining of the season, striker Insigne is eye a 100% record between now and the end of May in order to make sure of lifting the trophy.

Insigne, who scored in Monday’s away win, admitted: “We’re top, but it’s in our hands. We must win all our remaining games. Juve won’t give up, but we’ve shown that we have great character and a big heart.”

On big issue for Napoli is that they still have to play Juventus in Turin, with the pair due to meet on April 22.

The leaders also face two away games at the San Siro against Inter and in-form AC Milan, while fifth-placed Roma visit the Stadio San Paolo this Saturday.

Insigne added: “We’re not putting pressure on anyone, we’re playing each game as if it were a Final. We hope to be rewarded at the end of the season.”
