In the latest Huddersfield Town news, goalkeeper Jonas Lossl has urged his team to keep pushing after claiming one more result should secure their safety.
The Terriers produced a superb performance on Sunday to secure a point away at Manchester City.
City had been hoping to celebrate their title party with a win but David Wagner’s men had other ideas at the Etihad Stadium.
Sunday’s draw ensured Huddersfield moved onto 36 points and they are now three points clear of the drop zone with two games remaining.
Wagner’s men face Chelsea and Arsenal in their final two games and Lossl admits they may need one more point to make sure they avoid the drop.
He told Sky Sports: “We knew they were going to come strong again from the beginning but as the half went on I think we deserved our point. We had a perfect plan and we followed it. We believed in it.
“It was a really fantastic – what a clean sheet to get. It was a massive team effort and I am really proud. We can use this point. One point more and I think we are safe.
“It has been a very good season so far but we are not there yet. We haven’t reached our target yet. The target is to stay in the Premier League and has been all the way through.
“It’s like a 100-metre sprint. We don’t stop after 95 metres. We need to run it all the way through.”
The Terriers are now 5/1 with Bet365 to go down and they will be hoping either Swansea or Southampton win their match on Tuesday to improve their chances of survival.
