
PointsBet and the PGA Tour have signed a three year extension to their content and marketing deal that was originally signed back in 2020. PointsBet is the sole betting partner and Official Betting Operator of the PGA Tour. PointBet’s live betting odds will be integrated into streaming broadcasts on the GOLF Channel and NBC’s streaming service Peacock. There have even been plans made to include the live odds on the NBC Broadcast in the future. PointsBet extends their partnership as the official gambling site of the PGA Tour
A major component of the now extending partnership is the introduction of an “Official Free-to-Play” game made by developers Low6. The game will be exclusively presented by PointsBet and will include multiple ways to engage fans during live competitions.
According to PointsBet, “Fans will be able to enter the game at nearly any point during a tournament week with the points system directly tied to live odds featuring games such as outright winner, top-10 and top-30. The free-to-play game features a guaranteed weekly cash prize of up to $5,000. More information and images will be provided prior to the games release in January 2022.”

With its partnership, PointsBet is allowed continued use of PGA data and content. This allows them to use PGA Tour footage in any of their content. So look for more PGA Tour clips in the company’s pre and post game shows, social media feeds, highlights, and betting specific videos. No doubt this will lend an air of gravitas to the company’s productions.
The Australian based/US facing sportsbook PointsBet has been on a tear as of late partnering and making deals with professional sports leagues. Back in August they were named an “approved sportsbook operator” by the NFL. This is basically one step lower than becoming the “Official Sports Betting Partner” like they are with the PGA.
