FanDuel Guru: TV Spot
U.S. sportsbook company FanDuel has become the first authorized gaming operator of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The prominent sportsbook has also been named the CFL’s Official Sportsbook Partner.
FanDuel’s partnership allows fans and sports enthusiasts in Ontario to participate in CFL betting on FanDuel. This includes betting on in-game player propositions and future bets.
Dale Hooper, the general manager of FanDuel Canada, expressed his pride in the partnership. He acknowledged the league’s dedicated fan base.
“We are very proud to kick off our partnership with the CFL … We are excited to provide sports bettors with an industry-leading experience,” Hooper said.
“We look forward to working with the CFL and TSN to continue to drive interest in this great league.”
Starting this season, FanDuel will provide fans with various in-game player propositions. The features include options to predict any-time touchdown scorers, as well as passing, rushing and receiving yardage forecasting.
FanDuel is deeply committed to promoting responsible gaming. It takes the extra steps to apply this principle throughout its operations.
This implementation includes providing comprehensive training to employees, integrating responsible gaming features into its products and adopting responsible marketing strategies.
As part of its core values, FanDuel strongly emphasizes complying with regulatory bodies and provincial regulations, showing its dedication to responsible gaming practices.
Similarly, the CFL proactively safeguards the league’s integrity by implementing a Match Manipulation Policy. In collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), the CFL has launched an e-learning course to educate players and personnel about the policy and the potential risks of match-fixing.
“We’re excited to work with FanDuel to deliver an exciting and innovative betting experience.”
Tyler Mazereeuw, CFL chief commercial officer
CFL chief commercial officer Tyler Mazereeuw underscores the league’s stance on responsible sports wagering. He highlighted that only adults aged 19 and above, who have the financial means to participate, could engage in wagering activities.
Mazereeuw also conveyed the CFL’s enthusiasm for partnering with FanDuel “to deliver an exciting and innovative betting experience.”
The CFL and FanDuel collaboration provides a secure and trustworthy betting environment, ensuring fans can bet with confidence.
