The new rear wing contributed to reducing the gap between the two teams. “They still have a slight advantage, but it’s not significant” Binotto said.

Leclerc defeated Verstappen in Austria by a large margin. This was the first time this season that the Dutchman had been beaten on race day thanks to the Ferrari being more gentle with its tyres. Binotto said that Red Bull and Ferrari are very close in the power-restricted corners and that it is all about the grip, where the Scuderia could make all the difference. Mercedes could be joining the Fight This Weekend
