User Reviews 2

First founded in 2002, Swedish bookmaker Redbet went online in 2004. The company was created by a group of sports betting professionals with support from programming specialists and entrepreneurial investment.

After two years in development, Redbet’s website was slick and engaging from the start, but the company chose to bet on just 2 sports at first. They were able to gain a following by offering very competitive odds and some enticing bonuses for new customers.

Redbet are a part of the igaming specialists EVOKE Gaming Ltd, a Maltese company that operate out of both Malta and the UK.

Redbet Offers and Bonuses

One of the key ways for a sportsbook or an online betting site to differentiate themselves from their competitors is through the types of offers and bonuses that they provide.

Redbet currently offer a 100% bonus deposit to new customers on deposits up to £100 so this should certainly see them gain plenty of new customers.

Users are required to make their first deposit of £100 to unlock the maximum bonus, and once that has been completed, the concession will appear in their account.

As with any sign-up bonus, there is a list of requirements to unlock it. These include customers having to turn over the bonus 35 times and not being allowed to use the bonus money until your real money runs out, a sort of lose-win situation.

Alongside the standard sign-up offer, there are also poker competitions available with the chance to win a seat at major global tournaments even if staking just £2 at the online tables.

Additionally, Redbet are teasing offers, special odds and competitions to align with their new sportsbook although specific details aren’t known on these at this stage.

It can be said that other betting sites such as Unibet offer a more extensive list of offers for their clientele. However, in terms of their current place in the market, Redbet provide a decent service with their promotions and customers certainly won’t be too disappointed with what is on offer.

Redbet Interface

Redbet’s interface is very pleasing on the eye but equally functional and easy to navigate.

With sharp graphics, enticing features, quick loading pages and a simple list of sports followed by sub-categories when clicked on down the left-hand side the website couldn’t be much easier to use.

Everything is very clear and bright, with the red and black background and white font providing a sharp contrast making it perfect for both novice and experienced punters.

For a sportsbook of this stature, Redbet’s site is exceptionally good and in general, it is an enjoyable place to be.

Their casino games are powered by major software companies like NetEnt and Microgaming and they also offer the chance to talk live to casino dealers to make a true casino experience from anywhere.

Redbet Mobile App

Most sportsbooks have caught onto the fact that punters are starting to move away from betting on desktop sites to mobile and tablet applications.

Redbet doesn’t have a mobile app yet although their mobile site is excellent and every bit as easy to navigate as the desktop site.

The fact that Mr Green has a casino app for both IOS and Android mobiles in addition to Redbet creating app versions of some of their more popular games would make it seem entirely likely that this could be a feature not too far and will perhaps be another step in the expansion of the brand.

Redbet offer a real alternative to the more established sportsbooks such as Paddy Power, with their superb array of sports markets and games for casino.Their in-play service, particularly the immersive Super Live feature, show imagination and a desire to provide customers with new and exciting ways to bet while maintaining the ability to place more traditional bets.Redbet certainly have one of the more impressive websites with their red and black graphics making the website a thoroughly enjoyable place to be. Their mobile site is also well designed and equally user-friendly, so customers can enjoy Redbet on the go wherever they are.Overall Redbet should be appealing to football bettors as well as in-play punters and those with interest in E-sports betting but the hope is that the new sportsbook will cater for all needs.

  • Redbet provide 28 different sports to bet on, with football matches delivering over 100 different markets to choose from.
  • In-play betting Super Live bet focuses on specific options in a game, such as minute by minute, goal within 60 seconds and similar other options.
  • A sportsbook and casino that provides customers with additional statistical content including in-game statistics and information.

Redbet Banking and Withdrawals

Withdrawals from Redbet are free of charge and appear quickly in customers’ accounts especially those processed via e-wallets.

Every common payment method is available, as well as some local ones. Punters can place bets in casino, live casino, e-sports, virtual sports and poker.

Cards are accepted with Visa and Mastercard while e-wallets are also fine to use with the likes of Neteller and Skrill.

One thing to note for card users is that credit card transactions incur a 2.5% safeguard fee, but beyond that, there isn’t a fee for the other methods used.

Redbet Customer Satisfaction

Reviews of Redbet have been mostly positive, with customers generally pleased with the product and the level of customer service provided.

They have a 24-hour customer service that can be reached via live chat on the website or using their 24-hour helpline as well as by e-mail.

Redbet representatives can answer most betting queries and are mostly helpful in dealing with any concerns that a customer may have.

In addition to the live chat and e-mail service, there is also an FAQ section that can answer simple betting queries or problems.

Overall Redbet’s customer service is more than adequate and the speed which it can be accessed provides peace of mind for customers.

Betting Markets with Redbet

Redbet provide a growing range of sports to bet on as part of their sportsbook.

Many of the usual suspects are included with football, basketball, tennis and cricket, though horse racing is a major absentee from the 28 sports that they cover.

The presence of E-sports betting is surprising and while very much a niche market it is one with the potential for major growth based on the hugely popular NBA 2K professional league in the US.

When it comes to depth in the markets, the football coverage at Redbet is impressive, with feature matches listing over 100 different betting options, including Asian Handicaps.

It isn’t just feature sports that receive this level of detail with their markets, with the chance to bet on everything from badminton in the Ukraine to baseball in Japan or ice hockey in Russia.

The level of detail and choice puts Redbet into a similar category with more established sportsbooks such as Paddy Power and Ladbrokes.

It is a shame that horse racing, one of the staple sports to bet on is yet to be included although Redbet are promising it with their new sportsbook. If they get that right, as they have with the rest of their products, they could soon become big players with the money that Mr Green will no doubt put their way in terms of advertising and marketing.

Redbet Content (Live Streaming, Audio, Radio, Blogs, Previews)

Many of the established sportsbooks such as William Hill and Betfair provide in-depth previews on a wide range of sports, to inform and entertain their customers.

In this case, Redbet are behind the competition and one would suggest they may need to follow suit in providing their own written betting previews for matches and tournaments on a range of sports, delivering key stats as well as tips.

They do include statistics in their live in-play games although these aren’t as easily digestible to the more casual punters as articles by well known experts or personalities which certainly grab the attention of the novices.

Redbet also have room for improvement when it comes to live streaming. At present, they are unable to offer live coverage of sports on their site, a feature that is becoming commonplace for many sportsbooks.

In-play bettors want to be able to watch and bet on sports at the same time, and if a sportsbook can’t deliver that, they will turn to an alternative site that can. Redbet are at a disadvantage here and while their innovative Super Live feature does offset it to some degree others are already starting to create similar options.

Redbet is a betting site that is always pushing forward so while they don’t mention live-streaming on the list of features coming with the new sportsbook, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see a live streaming facility introduced at some point soon.

Redbet In-Play

One of the major plus points when using Redbet is their in-play betting service.

With a live betting section that is equally attractive and easy to use, the variety of in-play betting options is truly what separates Redbet from many rivals.

The range of markets is huge, with Asian bets and alternative totals as well as some fantastic in-play betting features.

The Super Live feature allows punters to bet on all manner of things to happen in the next 1, 5 or 10 minutes along with such things as ‘next corner’ and a host of other bets likely to be settled very quickly.

Redbet have a very neat visualisation graphic in the top left corner telling you who is in possession, attacking or dangerously attacking to encourage punters to quickly place bets if the visualisation shows certain events becoming increasingly likely.

The visualiser brings in-play betting to life, as you really feel involved even if not watching the game and it allows you to try and follow the flow of a match. Other live fixtures are shown down the left-hand side too so can be navigated to with a single click making the list of bets at any time virtually endless.

Not many sportsbooks can offer such an immersive experience in-play so in that regard, Redbet are one of the leading lights in the field.

The only real drawbacks with their in-play service is the absence of live streaming and the inability to cash-out on most bets. Both are commonplace in the market and while Redbet are promising better cash-out options with their upcoming new sportsbook the presence of live streaming looks set to remain lacking.

Redbet Stats & Form

Betting sites and sportsbooks are always looking to give a bit more to their customers to keep them interested, and the inclusion of stats and form guides is one of those ploys.

Redbet, however, are somewhat lacking in this department with no previews or form-guides on the sportsbook so for those seeking either they must look elsewhere.

This will no doubt put off those who like to be influenced by expert opinions and it will be interesting to see whether they make more of an effort when they start covering horse racing where such previews are a near necessity on any betting website.

Redbet’s in-game statistics are relatively basic too so overall it must be said that they do lack in this area.

Redbet Overall

Redbet are a sportsbook and casino with an ever-expanding range of betting options and their progression looks set to continue with the backing of the Mr Green Company.

Their website is slick, impressive and has a very pleasing interface all while maintaining easy navigation and speedy movement from link-to-link which is critical with their in-play service, especially their Super Live feature which is a major selling point for their brand.

Redbet are starting to gain a following for their sportsbook now as well as already having a decent hand in the UK and their extensive range of betting markets on each event are critical to this.

There are areas to improve upon with the absence of live streaming for instance, but these are things that could be resolved in the future especially with Mr Green’s determination to make them a significant UK player.

Redbet are on the up and they offer a good option outside of the mainstream, while their new sportsbook could take this company to the next level.
