The ManBetx website is overwhelmingly focused on football and this is reflected on the home page where a dizzying array of matches from all the major European Leagues, and many more besides, are available to bet on both ‘Live’ and ‘Pre Match’. The site claims upwards of 30,000 live betting events every month and present their content on a black background with slate grey panels. The format is easy on the eye, not seeking to stand out from the crowd, loads fast, and is easy to comprehend.
A drop down key on the top right of the home page offers a very limited choice of languages – English or Chinese – highlighting the fact that at this point in time the company appears intent on focusing on English-speaking new clientele to add to their current Chinese customer base.
Registering and signing in are placed next to the language key, along with a clearly marked digital clock that should help ensure you don’t miss any golden betting opportunities as a result of not being aware of the passage of time.
The line below the login/sign up offers the main choice of the site; viewing those events that are currently live, and those other sports events that are not live at that moment.
The Sports section offers a massive range of football betting opportunities across leagues, countries and continents. It includes a huge selection of other sports with fixed odds available on even the most innocuous events in places many of us may never previously have known existed!
There is no horse racing betting available on ManBetx at the current time, although this might change as they seek to develop a serious foothold in the UK market and offer more events that appeal to the British punter. Clearly, punters primarily interested in horse racing wouldn’t find much to interest them at ManBetx.
The sub-sections below the Sports tab offer a good choice of events in a variety of formats; Dashboard, Live Overview, and Live Multiview. The Live Multiview tab allows you to drag events of specific interest to you onto this page and build a tailor-made screen focusing solely on the sporting events that are of interest to you on any given day. It’s a nice feature. There is also a Calendar tab, and a good Results tab that offers a wealth of results across a large number of events.
The site clearly has potential but does not currently offer enough for a serious punter. There is no obvious reason why you would bet with ManBetx ahead of more established players and without the incentive of offers and bonuses. The association with a Premier League football club is a plus and lends credibility and it may be an operator to watch for the future as it attempts to replicate its success in the very different Asian betting landscape.
