Lilibet History

Lilibet is a betting site that provides customers with an online sportsbook, in-play betting and a live casino.

They are managed by Lilibet Limited, a company based in Curaçao, and having secured a gambling licence in 2012 from the Malta Gaming Authority, aimed to offer betting to predominately Turkish and UK gamblers.

It has to be said that Lilibet are a not a major sportsbook when compared to many of their rivals in the betting industry, but they do offer a vast range of online gambling products and games, with reliable payouts and secure transactions.

Unfortunately, a lack of visibility within the marketplace means that for many punters, they will never have heard of them.

From sponsorships to social media, Lilibet have failed to promote what they do and what they can offer to bettors.

This is a significant drawback and explains why they have such little following.

Most sportsbooks and online casinos look for ways to promote their products, with sponsorship a vital tool in drawing customers in.

Many look to strike deals with sports teams or leagues to enhance their visibility, either through their name being printed on shirts and merchandise or on advertising boards at stadiums.

Lilibet don’t have anything like that, and it is the same story with their social media.

Over the last few years, we have seen a steady rise in the number of betting sites with social media accounts. It is a great way to engage with punters, as it enables betting sites to promote their latest offers, odds and features to attract attention.

Bookmakers such as Paddy Power are renowned for their social media activity in how they seek to entertain their clientele, with witty comments on sports and social events. However, with Lilibet, once again there is very little to shout about.

With so many betting sites now available on the market, customers have so much choice in who they can bet with.

Therefore, it is very disappointing that Lilibet have failed to show any initiative or creativity in how they advertise themselves to the betting public.

Without any sort of exposure, punters will have no way of knowing what they can offer them, or whether or not they are a betting site that is worth spending time with.

Lilibet haven’t even invested in creating an app to download for mobiles and tablets.

In such a saturated market, it is difficult to see how they can compete in the future when they are so behind the rest in terms of accessibility and visibility.

Pros and Cons of Lilibet

Pros

  • Decent range of markets for both sports and casino betting.
  • Strong offers available for both new and current customers.
  • Good variety of statistics and form guides on offer for different sports.
  • Several payment options available for both deposits and withdrawals.
  • 24/7 customer services available via live chat or by email.

Cons

  • Lack of horse racing on sportsbook.
  • Other sites deliver a more exciting list of markets to bet on.
  • Poor range of content with no betting previews or live streaming for sports events.
  • No app available for mobile or tablet devices.

Lilibet Overall

In such a crowded market, it can be easy for a betting site to be hidden from view and forgotten about.

Sadly in the case of Lilibet, that is exactly the situation they find themselves in.

Despite having plenty of decent markets for both their sportsbook and casino, as well as enticing offers for both new and existing customers, they are gradually falling behind the rest of the pack.

They are a name that is not familiar with the average punter, and the sportsbook only have themselves to blame.

Without an adequate promotion for their product, customers are unable to see what they have to offer as they have no visibility in either sport or on social media.

A lack of features such as live streaming only adds to their problems and with the industry looking to focus more on mobile and tablet users, a lack of an app is a further hindrance.

If Lilibet are to compete going forward, they have an awful lot of work to do on their image and what they have to offer.

Lilibet Interface

Despite not being a huge name in the betting industry, Lilibet’s betting site is very much on par with many of their rivals in regards to style and user-friendliness.

The main landing page is bright, with everything very clear and easy to see.

Lilibet have made a positive move in making sure that the first thing that you see on their site is the latest offers and bonuses available to both new and current customers. It is a smart decision as it immediately catches your eye.

Moving past that, all the available features are easy to access with options for sports betting, casino and promotions all listed on the left-hand side of the page.

There are some really nice touches such as a table that highlights the most popular casino games on the site as well as the ones that have been highly recommended. It all makes for a pleasant betting experience.

Other sportsbooks and casinos may have more going on, but with Lilibet, there is enough on show to keep you interested, and the layout is not only functional, but is also quite stylish.

Betting Markets with Lilibet

Lilibet have a lot to offer with their online sportsbook and casino services.

Delving into their sportsbook, they offer betting on more than 4,000 sport events, with odds that are on par with the more established betting sites.

With Turkey and the UK providing the majority of their clientele, it is no surprise to see football as the star attraction on their sportsbook.

There is a decent variety and depth to Lilibet’s football markets, with betting on outrights, goals, cards, corners and even Asian handicaps, as well as special markets for particular leagues and competitions.

Alongside the football, punters have plenty of choice of sports to bet on with feature sports such as cricket, tennis and rugby well catered for, as well as more niche events such as surfing.  However, if you are a horse racing fan, Lilibet may not be for you as it isn’t a sport that they cover on their sportsbook.

Moving away from the sportsbook and into the casino, there is certainly a strong list of options on offer. All the major gaming titles are available including King Colossus, with a nice variety of table games and slot machines to peruse through.

If casinos aren’t your thing, Lilibet also offer betting on virtual gaming.

There is plenty to get stuck into at Lilibet, but in comparison to sites such as Bet365, there is a lack of creativity and originality to the markets and types of bets on offer.

The more established sites have daily enhanced offers and specials, or allow punters to request a bet for a particular event. With Lilibet, they offer a simple betting service, nothing more and nothing less.

However, with betting sites constantly evolving, it does seem that Lilibet are a little dated in terms of what they offer, and if they are to compete in the future, they need to be more creative with their betting markets and facilities.

Lilibet Offers and Bonuses

As with any betting site, a strong welcome offer or bonus can make a big difference in attracting new customers.

In Lilibet’s case, they have a number of promotions currently on offer that are certainly intriguing.

After creating an account and placing a deposit of £10, new customers receive a QR Code which enables them to access a 20% bonus on their winnings from their first sports bet.

As with any bonus for new customers, there are requirements in place. The key one for this particular offer is that once a bet has been placed with the QR Code, users must then notify the customer service team on ‘Live Support’ that they have used the code, in order to qualify for the bonus.

It isn’t just new customers who benefit from the promotions, as there are also offers for current Lilibet customers as well.

For instance, if you place a bet on a four-fold in their sportsbook, with each selection at odds over 1.50, you can access their coupon bonus which can add an extra 20% to your winnings.

There is no doubt that there are a decent selection for both sports and casino bettors in terms of the bonuses on offer.

It is just a shame that unlike betting suppliers such as Coral or Ladbrokes, Lilibet fail to adequately promote their offers.

They are hidden amongst the plethora of other similar betting incentives currently available on other betting sites, and as a result, Lilibet struggle to distinguish themselves from the rest.

Lilibet Content (Live Streaming, Audio, Radio, Blogs, Previews)

Over the last few years, more and more betting sites have started to incorporate additional content in order to enhance the betting experience for their clientele. Whether it is betting previews from tipsters or journalists, or interviews and columns with former sports professionals, these types of features are designed to engage, inform and entertain.

Bookmakers such as William Hill and Unibet are two of the established firms who are at the top of the industry in that regard, but smaller sportsbooks have now started to follow suit. However, when we look at Lilibet, there isn’t a whole lot to see.

Beyond their statistics and results tabs, there is nothing else to really grab a bettor’s attention.

There isn’t any written, video or audio content to preview a sporting or betting event, which is a shame as they are a useful tool to help inform punters or to guide them to a site’s key offers or special bets.

With that in mind, there is no surprise to see a lack of live-streaming for their in-play betting service, which is another drawback, considering the growing trend of user’s wanting to watch and bet on an event at the same time.

Many sportsbooks and betting sites now offer a comprehensive service that goes beyond just delivering odds and offers.

They have recognised how quickly the betting industry is changing and have acted accordingly. In Lilibet’s case, however, they seem stuck in the past.

Lilibet In-Play

Lilibet’s sportsbook does include live in-play betting, with a whole host of sports to get stuck into.

Football takes centre stage, with the feature games sitting on top of the live sports console, but there is a great variety in terms of the leagues and competitions that can be accessed.

From live football from the Premier League to reserve leagues in Mexico, there is an impressive depth to what is on offer for punters, with a decent range of live markets to bet on.

All the usual in-play markets are included with outrights, goals, cards and handicaps, but it would be nice if there was a bit more beyond that.

We have seen sites such as William Hill deliver live specials and enhanced odds on in-play markets but Lilibet offer just the basics.

Having said that, they do provide some decent graphics to show how an event is progressing, with a map demonstrating which team or player is in the ascendancy, accompanied by the key stats.

A lack of live streaming is a negative though, and is another demonstration of how Lilibet does seem rather dated in comparison to many of their rivals.

Their in-play betting service is functional and easy to use, but just doesn’t quite cut it when weighed up to more established sportsbooks.

Lilibet Stats & Form

One area that Lilibet scores particularly highly in is with the range of stats and form guides that they provide on their site.

Punters can peruse through a variety of different sports that include football, tennis and even hockey, to find specific stats on individual teams, players, leagues and competitions.

The depth of information available is impressive, and the layout makes everything easy to locate, which is great for punters who use stats and form guides to aid their betting strategies.

Most sites use generic databases that are useful regarding the level of information they hold, but not so much when it comes to finding specific bits of form. This isn’t the case when using Lilibet.

They have individual tabs for each sport, and under those, individual sections that list stats features such as head-to-head records.

It makes the whole process very user-friendly, allowing customers to find what they are looking for quickly.

Lilibet Banking and Withdrawals

When it comes to the types of methods available for both deposits and withdrawals, Lilibet certainly hold their own against many of the established betting sites.

They provide a very strong variety of options with a process that works very quickly.

In terms of card users, Lilibet takes Visa, although Mastercard currently isn’t an option available.

Bank transfers are accepted as well as a range of online payment services that include E-Payz.

Bitcoin is also on the list of options that Lilibet are happy to accept for deposits, which is a plus as even some larger betting sites are yet to take up this option.

With a quick and easy banking process, this is a sportsbook who can be trusted and when it comes to both placing deposits or withdrawing from your account, there is certainly plenty of choice.

Lilibet Customer Satisfaction

As a sportsbook who doesn’t have the biggest of reputations, Lilibet have a rather small and concentrated clientele.

With language options for only Turkish and English, it does narrow down who they can offer their services to.

However, there have been very little complaints about their service from customers, and with regards to customer services, Lilibet are available 24/7 via a number of different options.

A live chat service is their feature option when it comes to customers needing to get in touch with any betting queries they may have. It is quick and helpful, with their customer service team both friendly and knowledgeable.

In addition, there are a number of email addresses available. They have three addresses to contact with customer services, general questions and marketing.

There is also a FAQ section on the help tab that can answer basic betting queries.

In that case, Lilibet on the face of it deliver a competent and reliable service that is easy to use for both novices and experienced punters.

The only slight negative is a lack of a phone number to accompany the live chat and email options for customer services, as that is something that the majority of betting sites do include.

Our Opinions of Lilibet

Lilibet is a functional and user-friendly betting site that has a decent range of markets for both their sportsbook and casino.
However, their ability to grow their brand and product has been severely hindered by how hidden they are from the betting public.
As a result, Lilibet feel like a betting site that is stuck in the past, as they lack the features that many of their rivals provide to their customers.

  1. Clear and fresh layout that provides over 4,000 sports events to customers on their sportsbook.
  2. A total lack of visibility in the market, with no social media presence or sponsorship deals in place with sports teams and associations.
  3. Modern betting features such as live streaming and betting previews for sports events aren’t available on the Lilibet site.
