LaBa360 History

Launched in July 2018, LaBa360 are one of the newest betting and gaming brands on the market.

Their name certainly stands out from the crowd in how unusual it is, with the name deriving from a nickname of a famous gambler, ‘LaBa’, who was renowned for being very lucky in the late 1800s in China.

LaBa360 use this story as one of their main promotional ploys, telling customers that this is a ‘legendarily lucky’ betting site.

Based in Malta and licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, they offer a range of betting facilities with slots, table games and sports betting.

They are owned by Vivaro Limited, a betting company based in Malta who have plenty of experience in the industry, owning other successful sportsbooks such as BetBull.

Having only recently popped up onto the gambling scene, this is a sportsbook that is relatively unknown, although they are actively working on ways to change that.

One of their major developments was through their launch, as they used it as an opportunity to announce their sponsorship deal with Premier League side, Burnley FC.

As we know, the Premier League is one of the most watched football leagues in the world, so this was a major deal for LaBa360 to pull off.

The partnership includes a multi-year shirt sponsorship agreement, so the betting brand will be on display on the club’s shirts and at their home stadium of Turf Moor.

In addition to that, the deal also sees the betting company have access to Burnley’s digital and social media channels, giving them further brand exposure to potential customers from around the world.

There is no doubt that this is a massive coup for any new sportsbook, though they do have a lot of work to do if they are to make up ground with many of their rivals.

With regards to other promotional techniques, LaBa360 have already created social media channels to advertise their products, though with the brand in its infancy, they have very few followers.

The content that they put out is heavily influenced by their partnership with Burnley FC, which could be a potential drawback as in some cases, there seems to be more promotion about the football club than the betting site.

LaBa360 are relying on their sponsorship to help raise their profile, though as they move forward, you would expect them to start showing a clearer identity than just a sportsbook on a football shirt.

They also are yet to launch an app for mobile and tablet devices.

This is something that will need to be rectified sooner rather than later considering the growing trend of punters betting on the move.

Pros and Cons of LaBa360

Pros

  • Plenty of markets available with over 30,000 live events every month for both pre-match and in-play.
  • Live streaming is available for a wide range of sports to bet on in-play.
  • ‘Live Multiview’ feature allows players greater control in choosing which matches and events they want to look at.

Cons

  • No application available for mobile and tablet devices.
  • No horse racing available to bet on in their sportsbook.
  • Lack of variety in offers and promotions for both new and existing customers.
  • Limited options available to get in touch with customer service team.

LaBa360 Overall

As one of the newest betting sites on the gambling scene, LaBa360 have created a product that is very user-friendly and possesses some great features, especially for in-play bettors.

There has been a lot of thought and resources put into the service with the vast range of markets in their sportsbook, and some quality titles for their casino.

However, they still have a number of areas that need improvement.

LaBa360’s partnership with Burnley FC is a great way for them to promote their brand, but it does seem a bit heavy in advertising the football club, rather than what the sportsbook has to offer.

Hopefully moving forward, we’ll see a clearer identity from the betting site.

Other areas are also not quite up to scratch, especially in the customer service department, with limited options available to customers if they have any issues with their account.

There is no doubt that LaBa360 is a work in progress, but for both novice and experienced bettors, there are still plenty of positives in using this betting site.

LaBa360 Interface:

The first thing that strikes you when you first see the LaBa360 site, is the strong link to their Premier League partner, Burnley FC.

Claret and blue, the team colours of Burnley, provide the colour theme for the site, and there are reminders everywhere of the sponsorship deal that they have in place.

In terms of the layout, players are given the opportunity to choose how they wish to view the markets available through Modern, Asian, Classic or Combo, with the default layout being ‘Classic’.

Users can change the layout by clicking on the settings icon in the top right of the website and selecting an option under the ‘Sportsbook Layout’ tab.

All the features available are easy to access, with tabs for sports betting, games and casino positioned in the middle of the page, whilst the latest offers and promotions are displayed in a large banner.

One feature that catches the eye is the ‘Last Minute Bets’ section on the main landing page, which shows the sporting events that are about to start, enabling punters to get their pre-match bets on.

For a site that has only just been launched, it does have a professional feel to it, with quick loading times for finding and placing bets.

The only negative is that it doesn’t contain a wow factor.

Compared to sites such as William Hill and Betfair, there isn’t enough going on to really draw you in, and it could be viewed to be a bit dull.

There is no doubt about its user-friendliness for both novices and experienced gamblers, but it does lack character and originality in terms of style and the options available.

Betting Markets with LaBa360:

Despite being one of the newbies to the online betting scene, LaBa360 offer plenty of markets for sports, gaming and casino.

They boast over 30,000 live betting events every month, both pre-match and in-play, for their sportsbook, with a wide range of sports to bet on.

Feature sports including football, cricket and tennis are covered comprehensively in terms of the range of markets available, whilst there are also plenty of niche sports such as MMA to get stuck into.

However, there are also a couple of absentees from the sports available to bet on.

Horse racing is one of the major attractions on any sportsbook, but unfortunately for LaBa360, it isn’t an option they currently provide.

This is a drawback, particularly for punters from the UK, as they tend to view horse racing as one of the staple sports to bet on.

Football is definitely the dominant sport for LaBa360’s sportsbook, with teams and leagues covered from all around the globe, including in countries such as Trinidad and Tobago.

There are some excellent markets on offer, particularly with the Asian Handicaps and their ‘Chance Mix’ market, which is a feature that throws a number of different markets together to form a single bet, such as a team to win or for a certain amount of goals to be scored.

Moving from the sportsbook into the casino, LaBa360 use well known gaming providers in the form of iSoftBet and MicroGaming to deliver a range of slots, video poker and table games.

However, it has to be noted that other betting sites do provide a stronger variety and depth in the markets available for both sports betting and casino.

LaBa360 do offer a decent service for both, especially for a betting site that is relatively new to the scene, but they will need to add more going forward to close the gap with their competitors.

LaBa360 Offers and Bonuses:

As we know with any new betting site and sportsbook, a strong welcome offer and a good range of promotions can be a great way to drum up interest and draw in new customers.

In the case of LaBa360, their current offers and bonuses aren’t as strong as their competitors.

For new customers, their welcome offer consists of a £10 free bet when you sign up and place your first bet of £10 or more on a selection with odds of 1.8 or greater.

As welcome offers go, it is very simple and does represent decent value.

One point that does need stressing though is that your initial £10 bet has to be placed and settled on the same day for you to receive the free bet.

In addition, free bets are valid for 14 days once they have been received and if they are not used within this time, they will expire.

The welcome offer is a solid promotion, but when it comes to keeping regular LaBa360 customers engaged and entertained, the sportsbook has more work to do.

At present, the only offer they provide is a ‘Cash Out’ on selected events, fixtures and markets for both pre-match and in-play football matches.

This also includes a ‘Partial Cash Out’ feature that allows users to cash out a specific amount of their bet and leave the remaining amount to run.

It is a feature that can be found on most sportsbooks such as Coral, so in that regard, LaBa360 need to think about creating their own bespoke offers to keep current customers on side.

LaBa360 Content (Live Streaming, Audio, Radio, Blogs, Previews)

When it comes to additional content, LaBa360 have tried their hand at creating features that can inform and entertain their customers.

Their main piece of additional content is their news page on the main site, which keeps users up-to-date with the latest events in the world of sport.

This can include articles on the latest scores and results, team news for upcoming matches, major transfer stories and even rule changes for particular sports and events.

In terms of their value, they are short and get to the point, but add very little in helping punters with their bets.

Other sites such as bet365, deliver blogs and betting previews with tips to inform users about upcoming matches or competitions, which help shape their betting strategies for those events.

However, one way in which LaBa360 redeems itself in the content stakes is through live streaming of sports events.

This feature is normally reserved for much larger sportsbooks as it is an expensive facility to maintain, with licenses and the technical work required to keep it running on site.

With LaBa360 being a fresh face, it is therefore a nice surprise to see them incorporate this feature, as it enhances the betting experience for their customers as it brings an event to life.

Delivering live pictures and audio allows punters to see what is happening and gives them greater clarity in helping them to decide on their in-play betting selections.

LaBa360 In-Play:

LaBa360 offer an impressive range of in-play betting markets on a wide range of sports, and include a number of user-friendly features to enhance the customer experience.

Just like the pre-match markets, football takes precedence on the in-play console, with a vast range of matches and leagues to choose from.

One of the strong selling points with LaBa360 is the creative in-play markets on offer, with customers able to bet on selections such as which team/player will receive a red/yellow card.

This puts them on par with some of the leading bookmakers in the business such as Paddy Power in terms of the level of detail for in-play betting markets.

Another positive is their ‘Live Multiview’ feature that allows users to add events to their own Multiview page.

Through this facility, only events added by the user will be displayed, giving greater control to the player, as they can decide which games they want to see the latest odds and stats for.

It is further enhanced by the fact that LaBa360 offer live in-play streaming for a variety of sports.

Punters now want to be able to bet and watch an event at the same time, so to have that feature available is a huge plus point for the sportsbook in their quest to attract new customers.

LaBa360 Stats & Form:

The majority of sportsbooks now offer a facility that enables punters to access stats and form guides on a range of different sports.

However, for LaBa360, it is still very much a work in progress.

There is a tab on the site for statistics, but all that is on offer for customers is a calendar that shows which sporting events are coming up and a limited results page.

Unlike the huge databases that other sportsbooks have to offer for their clientele, LaBa360 fail to provide an area that allows punters to find specific information.

Bettors like to look for specific trends to help them with their betting strategies.

With LaBa360, it isn’t easy for players to locate particular bits of form or stats and therefore, if you are a stats-based bettor, there are other sites that are far better suited.

LaBa360 Banking and Withdrawals:

As with most betting sites, LaBa360 provide a whole host of different methods for customers to deposit and withdraw funds from their account.

Both debit and credit cards are accepted with Visa and Mastercard, whilst there are also a number of e-wallets accepted that include Skrill and Neteller.

Despite being a new sportsbook, customers have so far been relatively pleased with the time it takes to withdraw funds from their account, depending on which method they use.

E-wallets are instant and cards take the standard one to three business days.

In comparison to their rivals, LaBa360 deliver a banking service that is very much on par, which is a good sign for a betting site new to the industry.

LaBa360 Customer Satisfaction:

With LaBa360 only being launched in July 2018, you would expect to find a few teething problems.

This is definitely the case when it comes to the options available to get in touch with their customer service team.

LaBa360 have an e-mail address that can be used by customers to send over any betting queries that they may have about their account, whilst there is also the option to post.

However, it is slightly perplexing that there is not a live chat service available on the site.

This is a facility that the majority of betting sites provide, as punters want to have issues resolved as quickly as possible, which is what a live chat service is designed to do.

There isn’t even a phone line that users can call to get problems resolved.

For a betting site that is brand new, the options available do seem rather dated considering what other gambling firms are currently providing for their customers.

LaBa360 Mobile App

Unlike almost all of their competitors, LaBa360 do not have an app for mobile phone or tablet devices.

For a sportsbook so well set up in other areas, this is a significant issue and is certain to be an area where they are looking to add to their service.

Our Opinions of LaBa360

LaBa360 are a welcome addition to the online betting scene, delivering a service that offers a strong range of markets and features.
Their main selling point has to be their in-play betting facilities, with options that allow punters to customise which events they want to look at, as well as being able to watch live sport on the site.
However, as a new sportsbook, there are a few areas that need improvement, but these can be easily fixed over time.

  1. The sportsbook boast over 30,000 live events every month for both pre-match and in-play.
  2. A ‘Live Multiview’ feature gives bettors the chance to choose which types of events they want to focus on, whilst live-streaming delivers pictures and audio of different sports.
  3. Areas such as customer service need improving, with limited contact options available to users.
