Favbet’s User Interface
At first glance the homepage is well constructed, if nothing particularly innovative. But if you judge a site by how easy it is to access all aspects of an operation, Favbet hits the spot. The homepage is basically also the sports betting area, which we think works well.
As with the majority of gambling websites the left-hand vertical menu bar shows the top sports available to bet on followed by a full list of sports beneath. Favbet goes into more detail than most with minority events displayed.
During the Winter Olympics, the site not only offered a special category for the event, but also bobsleigh, snowboarding, Nordic combined and other component events were shown separately. It’s a good approach allowing the customer an immediate appreciation of the betting opportunities available.
The top matches of the day are shown in a rotating carousel at the top of the screen and the player images add a vibrancy to the display. The main body of the screen is topped with the leading matches of the day, then below is a smaller box for live events and underneath the matches about to start are shown. It’s a logical approach and the clean nature of the site and the easy to read fonts add to the users’ experience.
A horizontal tab structure at the top of the page also provides quick links to the casino, virtual sports and lottery areas of the website.
The mobile platforms replicate the website in approach, is easy to use and is as visually appealing as the website.
It may not be innovative in approach as a large amount of gambling sites are very similar in layout, but Favbet do the basics well and go further than most in quality and depth of content.
One criticism would be that at the transition from page to page a loading ‘checking site’ script appears for a few seconds to assess the site’s suitability for the user’s browser. It does smack a little of going back a decade!
Favbet’s Betting Markets
All betting markets are there on the Favbet sports website apart from horse racing and greyhounds which are not present and for many UK based punters that means the site does not deliver.
UK horse racing and greyhound markets are tough markets to crack but without them it does leave a gaping hole and racing enthusiasts are often valuable punters.
It is not usual in the UK to see betting sections for Badminton and Speed Skating but nothing at all for Horse Racing!
Favbet do say they intend to add in these sports in the future.
However, if you do not bet on racing and are more interested in other key sports it is a very easy site to comprehend and there are plenty betting opportunities to explore.
It’s easy to frame an individual bet or an in-play or ante-pots acca very quickly.
Favbet Bonus Code
It is important to understand that Favbet does not offer a sign up bonus which is an unusual practice. It could be viewed as refreshing that they are confident enough in their services to welcome fresh trade without an initial bribe but on the other hand, punters are becoming accustomed to being offered an incentive to join up which is largely seen as a welcome feature of the UK betting landscape.
If a bonus is important to a punter they will need to look elsewhere but it is a shame to dismiss a site out of hand because it lacks a first win or matching deposit bonus scheme.
Bet with the site and there are advantages as Favbet does offer a loyalty programme to existing customers where points can be earned from bets placed and a Risk Free bet initiative that provides compensation for losing bets. There are daily bonuses available in the casino, which change daily, ranging from percentage bonus on wins, compensation on losses and financial bonuses.
There are no ‘request a bet’ initiatives or acca insurance schemes so common now elsewhere.
Live Streaming and Content at Favbet
Live streaming of certain events is available to enhanced live betting and can be viewed by any punter with a positive betting balance of 10 Euros or who has placed a bet during the previous 48 hours.
There are plenty of football and other key sports streamed but not horse racing.
Other content omissions are football commentary, horse racing radio and other sports audio which all enhance the experience for punters.
In-Play Betting with Favbet
No complaints here. In-play options are central to the sports area of the site, one click takes you straight into the match market and away you go.
Favbet cover over 150 In-play events on a daily basis which whilst not as many as bet365, it is a number well beyond many other big operators.
The colours used in the in-play areas are different to the bolder theses elsewhere and are not as easy on the eye.
Favbet Stats and Form
Basic in-play match statistics are available on all sports. A results and statistics service is also available on the website, but if you are a better that scours every digit to ensure a winning bet there are far better statistical websites around. You wouldn’t rely on Favbet for your data.
Customer Satisfaction at Favbet
Favbet operate a dedicated customer support service with a comprehensive help and FAQ section. There is a live chat service which is responded to immediately. No complaints with this and any you do have would no doubt be dealt with quickly.
Banking at Favbet
This is easy to use. Transactions are processed quickly and there is a lot of information on the site to explain the process. All payouts are received within 24 hours.
