What is a Super Yankee?
A Super Yankee is a bet consisting of five selections which houses twenty-six bets.
These bets consist of 10 doubles, 10 trebles, five four-folds and a five-fold accumulator.
Much like in a Lucky 63 bet, a Super Yankee offers huge returns. However, they can come at a cost as each bet has equal value and any single loss reduces the amount of potential winnings dramatically.
The Lucky 63 - and the similar Lucky 31 - are higher-stakes versions of the Super Yankee and may be the bets offered with bookmaker bonuses, as opposed to a Super Yankee, as it comprises fewer bets.
How is Super Yankee used in Sports Betting?
Placing a Super Yankee bet is very much like placing an accumulator only with far greater odds, but with that comes a much larger chance of a losing bet.
Punters could place a Super Yankee bet of 10 doubles, 10 trebles, five four-folds and a five-fold accumulator on a weekend of English football matches in the style of a traditional acca, as long as it houses the required number of bets.
However, one good thing about a Super Yankee is that only two bets need to come in in order to gain a return, albeit a small one. If more winning bets come in, then the bigger the return for the punter.
