The number of runs scored off the first ball is fairly self-explanatory. It refers to the number of runs a batsman manages to score off the first ball bowled in a game of cricket. Besides the obvious options of choosing the match winner or betting on the number of runs individual players will score, there are many markets of this kind which can be bet on during the course of a cricket match. Making the right prediction in all of these markets depends upon knowing about the teams and individual players involved and taking account of the format being played, whether that’s Test cricket, a One Day International or a T20 match.
