What is Lucky 63?
A Lucky 63 is a larger bet than a Lucky 15 and Lucky 31 but follows along the same lines in so much that it is a full coverage bet meaning only one winning selection is needed in order to receive a pay out on a punters initial stake.
A lucky 63 is made up of six selections, which are all part of different events consisting of six single bets, 15 doubles, 20 trebles, 15 four-folds, six five-folds and a six-fold accumulator, which equates to a total of 63 individual lines.
A Lucky 63 can be made in a number of sports but is most commonly placed in horse racing and is similar to a Heinz bet, which is made up of 57 bets as opposed to 63.
How is Lucky 63 used in Sports Betting?
An example of Lucky 63 betting would be to select six horses at a race meeting at Newmarket and then enter the stake in the single, doubles, trebles, four-folds, five-folds and six-fold accumulator.
For example, a £1 bet in each of these sections would mean the stake total would be £63 with the odds effecting the overall total value of the bets.
Due to a lucky 63 being a full coverage bet, even a single selection coming in will generate a return and with three selections winning, it is possible to get 2.5 times your stake returned.
The same example can be used in football matches as well as darts proving a popular market to bet a lucky 63 on.
