How is Ace Betting used in Sports Betting?
Betting on tennis has become increasingly popular in recent years. The sheer number of tournaments taking place outside the Majors throughout the year means that it’s almost always possible to find something to bet on, while the scoring system of tennis presents a range of possibilities for betting beside the traditional markets of tournament winner and tie winner. Ace betting might mean betting on which player in a match will serve the first ace, what the total of aces will be in the match or for a particular player and how many aces will be served in the match overall. The markets on the total number of aces can be bet in two ways. Some online bookmakers will offer a range of figures such as 20-25, 25-30, and bettors pick which range they think is the likeliest, while other offers a spread bet, which means that the bettor picks above or below the range given by the bookmaker.
In common with similar bets in other sports, such as the number of corners in a football match, or century breaks in snooker, the number of aces may seem random at first but can be predicted more successfully through a careful study of statistics.
